A photo, maybe, but not the others. Try browsing Facebook Marketplace or thrift stores for some cute, low-cost decorative things!

I’m 29, have been on the same hormonal birth control for 12 years, and am finally feeling ready to start a family this year with my husband. (Didn’t get red pulled until about 2-3 years ago). And I know next to NOTHING about fertility. My high school sex Ed lessons are a distant memory. I’m gonna have to do a lot of reading and research! It’s a shame that this was never discussed. Glad to be red pilled now and ready for this stage (trying to conceive) before it’s too late.

This behavior is absolutely unacceptable after 4 years, at his age. He should be essentially part of the family by this point and very comfortable in their home. Why was he not spending time with all of you? Or if he wanted to be more introverted, why not spend time doing other things around the house? Offering to help out your parents? Etc? I would confront him directly and ask what’s wrong and why he behaves that way. There’s no use dancing around it - if this isn’t how you’d want a potential …

Why? I think anyone who didn’t work out or go to the gym would be a red flag for neglecting their health. The gym is very important to me as well.

No, it’s a healthy thing to do and can help develop your curves.

I don’t relate to this too much, as for me it’s always been just hair and I cut it short in the summer because it’s really hot where I live! But to feel more feminine with it, I wear cute floral/print/color headbands, clips, barrettes, etc. something cute and girly and unexpected. You can get a bunch pretty cheap at Walmart or Target.

My then-boyfriend/fiancé, now-husband and I worked from home at the start of covid until the week after our wedding when I started a new job. Luckily, we moved into a townhouse on March 1, 2020 so we had more space, I set up in the living room downstairs and he set up in the spare room upstairs. I couldn’t imagine doing it without enough space between us so we wouldn’t have to hear each other’s calls, etc. my job was more low stress and not client-facing, so if he came into the kitchen nearby it…

Why is it dishonest? You’re not obligated to divulge every detail about your past. Men do NOT like to hear about past relationships or sexual encounters. My husband doesn’t like it when I even mention my high school sweetheart which was the cutest little innocent relationship ever.

You don’t have to tell anyone. I lived a feminist liberal lifestyle in college before I met my now husband (he was number 14 I believe). He never asked me my body count, and I never told him.

Yeah, my “party” habit def ruins my deficit on the weekends. I’ve gotten a little better but I know I’d go from fit to super fit/lean if I didn’t drink.

This! OP, you did not mention diet at all. If he likes walks, that should be enough to jump start weight loss WITH a healthy diet and calorie deficit. What does he eat? Can you work together on making healthier meals, or finding other activities to do together (even sedentary ones) that are distracting enough to keep from snacking? Does he drink a lot of alcohol?

Do you not have a joint account? That seems more Red Pill to me. I’m a newlywed and we just did that, it’s made conversations about finances so much more transparent and easy.

I was just joking because every man I know does the same thing. They’re just not hardwired to see the crumbs and stickiness like we are. Don’t need the downvotes, sheesh.

That’s so sweet!! I really need to detail my own car. Maybe next time he gets a ride to go out golfing and his car is sitting at home I can surprise him too.

I have a hard time “holding it in” about things he doesn’t care about too. I like to tell him about interesting things that I am working on at work, but not about drama or my coworkers personal lives. Thanks for the reminder to only add to our conversations if it’s meaningful and avoid pointless chatter!!

Lol right?! I was going to say, are my strong glutes and toned shoulders not feminine? Maybe they’re not dainty and frail, but they’re certainly feminine.

Stop whining and posting about it and just do it for gods sakes, it’ll take 5-10 minutes.

I don’t know the answer, just want to say that I’m so sorry you’re going through pain and having these worries. Maybe it would be best to just talk to your gyno.

I think she meant “undereating” is dangerous based on the context.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
