get a massage or a haircut or some other health/beauty treatment where the professional physically touches you weighted blanket a trusted female friend who would be willing to platonically cuddle and watch movies or something

If he was so impressed then why wait a year? it reminds me of when I was in college but not 21 yet and started flirting with random guys from high school to try to get me alcohol... only reaching out after such a long time out of desperation

It still affects how they treat us (young and old) and impacts our lives that way

I'm 23 (some moids would say that's post-wall) If they're saying any woman over 30 is worthless, then I know I'll be alone after turning 30. So why wouldn't I want to spend this time doing what I want? Working, doing my hobbies, and yes, having sex outside of marriage. I wouldn't want to settle down and clean up after a moid who's just gonna dump me anyway.

it's not about managing one's reputation so much as risk of material retaliation - wanting not to get fired. plus women have to do way less to meet the benchmark for being called aggressive - women get called aggressive if they don't say "sorry but maybe" in front of every single sentence, men get called aggressive if they take over someone else's business.

it's funny bc armed gunmen actually do rape and kill women on a regular basis

wives and mothers doing the grocery shopping. it doesn't matter if you're not the one requesting Frooty Flakes, someone's still gotta go out and buy them

if you ask for a raise you are called an aggressive bitch. and whether you receive a raise or not, your work will always be seen in light of you being that 'uppity bitch'

I don't care about men in relationships spending a few extra bucks on an optional holiday when women everywhere are getting paid $10k (or more) less for the same work.

if you wanted to talk about women who are street harassed (as the first commenter did by bringing up cat calling) , I'd say almost 100%

How exactly is a 4'0 child worthy of being "simply" recognized for female beauty?

Think about how many times you've heard about a woman using sex as a utility to get what she wants, or withholding sex as some sort of punishment. This is clear evidence she views her own value as primarily a sex object. Why should men view her differently than she views herself? Wow I mean I started getting catcalls, threats, groped at 10 years old. I didn't even know what sex was. How exactly then was I objectifying myself?

came here to say this. of course a male would want to message someone who has hobbies, even if they're masculine ones, instead of a profile that just says "i'm nice :)"

yes, that's exactly what I said.

name the problem: it's male violence. these things don't "just happen" to women. these things don't just happen to men either. but who is hurting people? it's overwhelmingly men.

yep, that's exactly what I just said!!!!! when men are victims of violence, that obviously is a bad thing. but no matter how disgusting that violence is, it is not on the basis of their sex.

when people say they want "equality" they mean one gender shouldn't be treated like garbage simply for being that gender. not that everything should be equal. 2 + 2 = 3 + 1. Equality doesn't mean we all have the same job and drive the same car and wear the same clothes. Society can be equal and still have competitiveness, too.

Think about the odds: more males are taller, and even with a dating history including some shorter guys, the odds are still gonna be that the male in any given relationship is taller. Plus, people aren't really going out their way to mention a slight height difference, only people who have something interesting to say.

Most people aren't using that combo. Many people are sorta stuck with certain kinds of BC because that's how their body reacts to it or others. And either way -- it's still women who are taking the risk. EDIT forgot to say that it's also women who are at risk of getting serial killed by the guy, etc

It's cool that we can do something but that doesn't always mean that we should. Women generally do not orgasm from these encounters (or any heterosexual sex) and often find it dry and painful. Women do all the work as far as getting dressed up/performing femininity only to be gross after and not even cum from it. And women are the ones putting ourselves on the line due to risk of pregnancy (BC is not 100% effective). I would not tell people not to do it -- that's actively being sexist -- but I e…

Low body fat makes the small muscles we all have just from existing show up better. If you live an active lifestyle, even those post-run push ups will make a difference.

They are comparing 20 minutes on the treadmill (or flat road) to a nailed-down lifting routine. So of course the lifting is gonna be better for you! Of the people I've met, most hobby runners (15-30mpw) are putting in more work than the average hobby lifter (bench and machines 3x a week).

If your problem is with the obsessive checking, you don't have to do all that. Most people will look "pretty good" if they make common sense food choices and do some kind of exercise everyday.

a lot of the time, there's already gang presence in whatever town they live in and people join for protection. It's fucked up, but that's how it goes

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
