| 2 | Wisdom from William Faulkner - Light In AugustWell, I don't think brevity was really a thing novelists did back then. For stuff like that, a second reading usually helps sort things out. That being said, I didn't like Sound nearly as much as Light. To answer your question - no, I think that it's more prose-y, the characters are more relatable (in my opinion), and the book is easier to read overall.
