Gah I don't have kids I had no idea. Pedo justification is always that the kids want it and that it's not inherently traumatizing. Interesting the vein of arguments we are seeing here... I've familiarized myself some w/ these issues that came up in the 70s. It sure seems like there is a resurgence to normalize pedophilia. I expect it will be stomped out but it's horrifying to see the vocal defenders.

certainly there are some countries that agree with you, but what is the cut off? 16, 14 in some places. What if the woman were unattractive? What if the boy was manipulated and outwitted by a smarter older woman who used him for sex by seduction and fraud, not true consensual feelings? Of course this behavior is damaging to anyone regardless of age, but shouldn't children be protected from predatory adults? An adult who prefers this kind of upper hand, even if the person is 18, is still predator…
