I have appealed my taxes down to less than $100/year; I just saw an $80,000 several acre farmette for sale in Delaware with existing taxes @ $450/ year. In many counties they no longer collect property tax. I've also let property go to tax sale with the purpose of paying less in redemption that I would have timely.
