IMO part of the package deal of College/University is the atmosphere and learning to cope in a semi-business environment. When a student leaves they will hopefully enter the business world and be required to work alongside many different people of all sorts of backgrounds, it's unavoidable. By attempting to avoid that he is only doing himself a disservice.

More likely the majority of them are simply misinformed. They haven't seen the actual statistics and have instead a misshapen conception of the demographic makeup of child abusers. Certainly there are some who do know and either simply don't care or instead attempt to hide the truth in order to enforce a ideological point of view, but they are, hopefully and more than likely, not the majority.

A selective service registration card. Young males in the United States are required to register for selective service when they reach the age of 18. Failing to register can limit college options and financial aid etc, I believe it might also be a felony. SS is basically the military draft system, but inactivated in that nobody is drafted (yet). That's the difference between receiving an education and receiving a degree. A person could, in theory, receive a degree without ever really receiving an education, the opposite is also true. Just parroting back facts and information without ever really learning and growing can get you a degree, but the bulk of those facts and figures will be promptly forgotten.

Since this is a medical school, the test does examine knowledge retention and memory of applicants. Excellent knowledge retention on the test suggests a person would have excellent knowledge retention in the field. Poor knowledge retention suggests a person will be less knowledgeable in the field, which can put innocent lives at risk.
