That comment section immediately made me lose all hope for humanity. Peace, I'm going to go live on the moon.

I think it's important to note that if you're going your own way in order to effect change on society, you're becoming a MGTOW for the wrong reasons. Going your own way is about rejecting the expectations of society, not placing expectations on society. It's ok to speculate on what might change I suppose, but I don't think that should be your goal at all. We're not effecting change on society here, we're effecting change on ourselves.

I do my best. It's not really a switch you can flip. I just try to enjoy myself by setting goals I can enjoy accomplishing. Winter's here, so I'm playing a lot of Hockey on the ODRs. Enjoy a couple beers with the boys, and do some real physical activity. I've got a ways to go though. Lots of work to do once you suddenly switch how you measure yourself.

Men Going Their Own Way Focusing your time, money, efforts on self improvement and securing your own happiness. Not allowing yourself to be disposable by someone else. Measuring your success on your own standards and definitions instead of whatever others want to use to measure you or your 'manhood'. You are your own sovereign.

Sub is lost, don't even bother. Mods don't even answer their own deleted comment threads. They're just creating another echo chamber one rule at a time

I think most people were on your side until I'm sure the women living back home on the farms had to pick up the responsibilities from guys who left for war.

I was going to post the same thing. My father was (is? idk he's pretty secrative about it, go figure) a freemason, but I do NOT believe in a higher power, and thus am not an acceptable member.

The police don't have much say in what gets brought to court most of the time. They simply investigate, and provide the necessary info to DAs.

It amazes me how often questions "derail" someone's efforts to promote equality. I didn't realized not being questioned was a train you'd built, sorry 'bout that, I'll just not have an opinion.

I've been working my way out of the rabbit hole for a while now. Finally beginning to understand the myth of the male oppressor. The biggest push for me was the discourse other men were using to vilify me for the apparently "absurd" notion that men have issues that sometimes do not get addressed in feminist discourse. Of course, I've since learned that its not ignored... its very well thought out... We're just ideologically being attacked as a gender, for the past "wrongs" of the 1% entitled who…
