Been that low myself. Hang in there.

Oh does this sound familiar. My wife turned out like this and again social media played a BIG part. She’s not change. I am now skint, and she still has the occasional dig about her new bloke’s car, his house, their holidays...etc I couldn’t care less, I just fear for him...

Any tips for break ups where there are kids involved? Harder to put the bitch out of your mind when you’re forced to communicate with her almost daily.

100%. I noticed that my wife and her friends would support each others’ behaviour no matter how bad it got. I remember her best friend arranging to meet a guy for sex in a hotel while her husband (and father of her four kids) was working away. This was justified because he “wasn’t giving her enough attention” and she “deserved better”.

Yeah he is. And because he’s got a high SMV (six figure income, nice house and car, good shape...etc), no kids or ex-wives, the women he gets are 8s and 9s.

There’s a guy I work with who lives a MGTOW lifestyle. Spends his money pursuing his passions, dates a series of women (but never for longer than a few weeks) and admits he has no desire to live with a woman. He’s pushing 40, and gets a lot of pressure from people in work who say he should settle down. I think his freedom makes them uncomfortable. I used to feel mildly resentful of him when I was married, but now I understand he had it right all along.

If he started helping out more and showing more affection, she STILL wouldn’t want sex with him. She’d find something else to moan about.

My wife used to say things like that. I ended up taking on more and more childcare (to the point that I was the primary caregiver) and letting her give up work so she could study towards a more fulfilling career while I carried the entire financial burden of my family myself. We still didn’t have much sex and as soon as she qualified she dumped my ass because “she deserves better”. AWALT.

It looks like a disabled girl who lacks confidence in her appearance and the comments are from her friends trying to reassure her. Human decency basically. Not really anything to do with MGTOW.

If you can’t handle her at her worst...etc! Hubby’s probably at home looking after the kids.

I sympathise bro. Years of conditioning have made it very easy to slip back into that provider role. You saw the real her during your divorce, and now she wants something, don’t be surprised if she starts acting like the fantasy you once fell in love with. When my ex is between cocks and feeling needy I often get texts from the ‘old’ her. You’ve done well to resist.

Absolutely brilliant summary of MGTOW in the final post. Calm, rational and concise.

Well duh. I had more sex when married than I do now, but (A) It was crap, and (B) It was nowhere near frequent enough to make up for the sacrifices I was making for her. Better off having a wank.

I’m a similar age and also trying to start again financially from scratch. Spent the last 15 years busting my balls for a woman. Wish I’d discovered this sub 20 years earlier. Everyone keeps asking me when I’ll be dating again. Ha! That’s like asking the double-amputee when he’ll be climbing back into the lion enclosure again.

The U.K. press in a nutshell. In another recent high profile divorce, pop singer Louise Redknapp ditches her husband and kids to ‘rediscover herself’ and the general response is ‘you go girl!’ Paul Hollywood ditches his wife to ride motorbikes and shag younger women and he gets ridiculed.

Barely a week goes by without someone I know getting divorced or separated. And it’s always the wife instigating it, and it’s always for a vague reason (I’m bored, I don’t feel special, the ‘spark’ has gone) rather than something irreconcilable.

Go grey rock on the ex. Cherish the time with your kids. Raise them to respect others, develop themselves and support themselves through their own work and ingenuity. Lead by example.

A girl I had a crush on needed a song for a performance she was doing in drama class. She asked if I had it on CD. I didn’t, but I told her I did, and went to the store to buy it. This is one of many cringeworthy blue pill stunts I’ve pulled.

This is what they’ve been taught. To bring nothing to a relationship while men bring everything. The kid’s father probably got ditched because mom got bored and is now busting his balls paying child support while she trawls the Internet for her next victim. MGTOW is the only option in the current landscape.

The rate of male suicide is alarming. But even those who campaign to raise awareness are wilfully blind to the primary cause. According them the problem is caused by men’s reluctant to talk and express their feelings. Nothing to do with the gynocentric society we live in.

Looks like quite a small apartment. She’s probably on a WhatsApp group with her friends telling her she ‘deserves better’.

Great way of describing it man. For me, I always had a nagging thought that there was something wrong and unfair about modern life and relationships, and MGTOW articulated it to me. What a revelation! I don’t have to try and find another wife / girlfriend. I don’t have to do shit for women. I don’t have to work my ass off to buy things to impress women. I can just do whatever I want.

I can understand your fear, but the chances of meeting someone loyal is very slim. It’s more than likely that you’ll find someone who’ll divorce you when you’re 40-45, take your home and everything you’ve worked for, and you’ll be lonely anyway. Develop your interests, and friends will come.

You’ve pretty much just described the mother of my children. Spends her time putting pouting selfies on Facebook so her friends and her beta orbiters can say ‘so beautiful xxxx’, whilst the kids are pretty much left on their own staring at screens. It is an utterly wretched situation to be in.
/r/MGTOW25/03/18 09:00 PM
8

You’re in the same situation I was. It’s not easy. I’m divorced now, and I have a good job, but I’m still fairly skint and I’m struggling to afford a deposit on a house. My youngest is 8 years old, so the way I see it is I’m stuck in this situation for another 10 years.

Good on you man. Don’t beat yourself up about the past. Get a plan and move forward. Change is daunting, but look at it this way. If you eat 2000 cals per day and exercise 30 mins per day for the next six months, you’ll completely change your body.

It’s all very familiar. When I was married, this is the sort of advice my wife and her friends would give each other. They want a man to ‘make me happy’ which invariably translates to: support them financially, treat them like a princess, look after the kids, give them whatever they ask for and never complain. Meanwhile they have ZERO concept of trying to make their husband happy. The husband is expected to be happy simply to have them as a wife. It is truly a fucked up mess.
/r/MGTOW23/03/18 09:36 AM
43

My wife used to put loads of our wedding pictures on Facebook saying ‘best day ever’ and stuff, even though she was ‘unhappy’. It’s all about promoting an image to the world.
/r/MGTOW22/03/18 08:31 AM
11

Why are you assuming that they’re single because the father left? Most are single because they chucked the father out because they weren’t ‘fulfilled’.
/r/MGTOW20/03/18 05:17 PM
11

It’s cathartic. If men want to vent on here why stop that? They can’t do it anywhere else unless they want to become pariahs.
/r/MGTOW19/03/18 10:48 PM

How did I discover MGTOW? Well, having been a supportive partner/husband to my NAWALT for 15 years (including supporting her financially through college because ‘wasn’t happy’ in her job) she decided she ‘wasn’t happy’ with me either, so took my house (which she’d never paid a cent towards) and demanded 25% of my income. I have to start my financial life from scratch at almost 40. I’d be INSANE to put everything at risk again.

Grow that business dude. And did you ever have hobbies that faded away because you were too busy trying to please a woman? Rediscover them. And / or take up new hobbies. The world is your oyster.

You weren’t arrogant or knowingly foolish so don’t beat yourself up. The love a man has for a woman is genuinely a beautiful thing. Pity it’s all based on an illusion. Just be glad you’ve discovered this at 37, when you’ve got plenty of years to build a great life for yourself. Imagine devoting yourself to a woman your whole life and going to your grave not knowing she’s taken every dick in town behind your back.

I genuinely wish you the best of luck, but a few years ago I would’ve written the exact same posts you have, and now I’m divorced, I’ve lost my house and am crippled with child support payments. Don’t fall into the trap of thinking it can’t happen to you.

All the times anyone has gone above and beyond the call of duty to help me out, it’s been a man. When I was going through a divorce and struggling, three different friends offered to pay my rent for a month and one offered me £500 to buy Christmas presents for my kids, because he knew I was about to sell me car. I never took them up on the offer but I sure as hell appreciated it.
/r/MGTOW17/03/18 11:26 AM

A friend of mine got divorced the same time I did, so we became close and confided in each other through the tough times. Now he’s living with a new woman and helping to raise her kid by another guy. She’s different than his ex apparently. Although he also raised his ex’s two kids by another guy. I told him I’m going MGTOW, and he’s accused me of being ‘alt right’ 😂

Very recently. I’m 10 months into a separation and still getting fucked around by my ex-wife. I realised that I’m in this for another 10 years or so, due to having young children. No woman is worth it.
