You can easily automate payments by check, most banks offer that service.

Label your axes. The "With Earnings" in the title and lack of labels gives the initial impression that this is how much the workers make, not how many workers there are.

And apathetic people, greedy people, spiteful feminists, misguided and self-righteous people, etc. If this is something "more feminists should hear" then it should be posted to the feminist subreddit; not this one. Passive-aggressive complaints about feminism are not the same as MensRights.

What the fuck does this have to do with MensRights?

Feminists aren't a homogeneous group. Some feminists believe the top poster. Some feminists are better represented by the bottom ones. That's not cognitive dissonance.

It doesn't matter what they're feminists to support I completely disagree. There are plenty of feminists who just want (and act towards!) gender equality. An organization is nothing if not the sum of it's individuals. The way I see it, it is just as good (or better) for righteous individuals to join an organization and change it from within rather than fight it from the outside. [If they] don't want to be part of a hate movement, [they] can form their own group. The thing is, these well-meaning …

Feminists aren't all feminists to support some anti-male agenda. They're feminists because that's the established group which is working to fix female-specific gender issues, just as MRM is doing for male-specific gender issues. What group would you suggest they join if not feminists?

He didn't assume anything. He just suggested a possible explanation (however irrational) for her actions. First step to figuring out how to fix a problem is understanding what's causing it. And there's plenty to suggest that this lady was not a sociopath. For one, none of her actions were logical.

I'd like to see a formal study done on this. 10% seems extremely high; and though a geneticist is certainly an authoritative opinion on the subject, he is still subject to biases without scientific rigour.

Don't "give up on someone you've considered a friend" because of a short verbal disagreement, push back and try to get them to understand. Don't shove your fingers in your ears and just ignore them!

Almost all generalizations are inaccurate because they apply a specific characteristic to a broad group of people; thus, calling it a "generalization" is addressing the accuracy of said statement. Women don't want stay at home husbands...they want to complain, is a sweeping generalization that is diminutive towards women and has no place on a subreddit which is dedicated to an equal rights movement. /u/OuiCrudites asserts this claim with no evidence, and thus I can dismiss it with the same amoun…

Please choose a better title next time. Something like "Mainstream media condones women cheating." Because let's not pretend that men are any less capable than women at being cheating scum. This type of anecdotal ad hominem attack is what makes people believe that MR is a hate group: it has nothing to do with men's rights and only serves to imply that "women are the enemy".

Poe: one who is an example of Poe's law. Id est, someone who mockingly posts the ideologies of their opposing views sarcastically then is mistaken for actually believing those views.

No. The point is that, though the extremes of one group r/Feminism may be against the ideals of this sub, the moderates are not. Edit: let's stop skirting the issue here.

Yeah. Try being the parent to bring that up at the PTA meeting: "Yeah, I think we should stop telling little girls how bad rape is. I mean, we don't want them to be traumatized when that happens..."

You appear to be woefully generalizing. Seriously, not all feminists are against Men's Rights, just as not all MRA's are against Feminism.

YSK that this is a bullshit infographic - it flat out lies. Here's a quote from the only source cited: "In spouse murder cases, wife defendants were less likely to be convicted and to receive severe sentences than husband defendants." And that's not a cherry-picked quote - its in bold on the first page of the article. edit: Upon further reading, it says at the end of the infographic that all the statistics were reversed. This was very poorly designed.

I have a few objections. First: it is not necessarily true that chivalrous behavior is romantically destructive. Though it may hurt someone's chances of having sex, it does not hurt their chances of starting a relationship - being nice and treating someone with undue kindness is certainly a good foundation for further interactions. Second: You make the assumption that this is the message that is being taught to the majority men. Your anecdotal evidence and mine do not coincide: I have been broug…

Men's Rights: A movement struggling for gender fairness Feminism: A movement struggling for gender fairness The goal of BOTH movements is for gender fairness. There will be some, in both groups, who forget this while fighting for their side; don't be one of them.

I'm downvoting this simply because the title demonizes feminists as a group - as though there are no decent feminists. Though, you make some good points.

While I understand the compulsion to point blame on an absent parent (I've personally seen this effect a few friends) there is no reason only the male absentee should be culpable. That is sexist in both directions: it's like saying "mother's can't be responsible for children, only fathers can do that" as well as "men are irresponsible for leaving their families, but women can leave whenever they want." Honestly, what is wrong with these people?

While yes it is a bit dramatic to call it as harassment, you are being just as dramatic by posting as some sort of men's rights concern. There are legitimate reasons to get riled up for men's rights, this is not one of them.
