the waste of resources, to send this woman to undergrad, then law school, only to never use it. Jesus. Not only did she waste her and the school's resource, but kept a man from getting a career in law. did the article say whether she initiated the divorce?

How the fuck are there 16 hours of housework a week? Are they continually renovating the house? If a cleaning service said they needed 16 hours a week to clean your house, you would not choose them
/r/MensRights24/03/16 05:59 PM

Some women like rough sex. They are adults that can make rational choices and we shouldn't judge them for it, nor the men that they get to rough them up If someone assaults you go to the police immediately. Don't wait 14 years. Don't go to the media. Don't send them racy photos after. People lie. Both men and women. This is why people should be presumed innocent and due process is important. Don't fucking lie in court.

Women should work harder and make better career choices
/r/MensRights03/03/16 07:49 PM

This is Machiavellian, but is an option. It is almost certainly unethical, and barely legal at best (consult a lawyer). If this kid is yours (paternity test), consider bribing her to get an abortion ($5-10k might do the trick). Try getting a loan from anywhere and work your ass off this summer to pay it back. Lie to her and tell her you'll knock her up next year. Can you prove her an unfit mother in any way? Drug addict, for example? If so, get custody then give up the child for adoption.

My issue with cleaning is that my GF wants the place spotless at all times, and I am okay if it's a little messy. Another issue is that it takes me about an hour to clean the house top to bottom, but it takes her about 6 hours. So, the reward is not great for me, I simply don't care. The effort is great for her, so she wants all kind of recognition for a clean place. I don't think this problem will ever be solved in co-habitating couples, unless you can afford a maid.

That's a cute and wrong definition. Feminism's goal is more power for women, regardless of what happens to men. If they cared about equality, they'd be fighting for more men in colleges, and cutting back scholarships for women.

I think that the best things we could do, before banning people, would be: a) remind people to point their attacks at Feminism, and not women b) try to attack with humor and a sharp wit, and not hatred c) we could also have a rant area where people can vent their anger, where messages are not stored for very long :)

Feminist troll warning bells going off. MRA is about freedom and equality of opportunity. Feminism is about control and rules. Some men are angry. Some have been fucked over very hard and are damaged. They are allowed to be angry. It's okay to be angry if you've been harmed. It's okay to express that anger. But we should encourage them to be more positive and constructive, with some understanding. You tell your feminist leaders to get rid of their murder-endorsing man-haters, and we'll ban the m…

We are fighting against the evils of feminism. Not against women. Feminism went too far and is now hurting men, in many realms. One can hate feminism without hating women. The same way one can oppose Israel's occupation of Palestine, yet not hate Jews. Or dislike Communism, without disliking a North Korean. Yes, we should do more to help disadvantaged men, but in areas of injustice in the law, one cannot start a charity, the law must be changed.

To show causality, you need correlation and you need a counter-factual, i.e. going back in time, doing the opposite, and getting a different result. The Scientific Method is good at simulating counter-factuals, as it randomly assigns different treatments in a controlled manner. Unfortunately, in an observational study, such as counting how many people got cancer over time from smoking, isn't experimental, and doesn't provide counter-factuals. It's entirely possible that the same thing that drive…

/r/MensRights07/10/11 07:14 AM

Way to avoid the question. Also, you don't know what you're talking about. Why did the British Doctor's Study take 40,000 doctors 50 years to collect enough evidence to show that cigarettes caused cancer, if you could just have your magical "causitive" study? How would you experimentally show that someone's maleness and not their life history and genes unrelated to being male was responsible for causing accidents?
/r/MensRights07/10/11 02:47 AM
1

How would you show causation, Captain Science? Have experiments, randomly force people to breed, assign some kids to the father, some to the mother? Does smoking cause cancer? Just correlation, no causation. Do males cause more car accidents? Just correlation, no causation. In the above two, overwhelming evidence, based purely on correlation, is enough for people to assume causation.

why do they need againstmensrights when they have feminisms?
/r/MensRights22/07/11 06:07 PM

I don't believe that women are equal to men. Women could attain equality only with massive legal and financial assistance from men. Therefore they are not our equals. I don't really support equality either. I support Equity, which means you get back what you put in. Women should not be given special treatment. I only support their right to first trimester abortions.

i love how she blames DSK for the fact that the stupid district attorney's career is now ruined. feminists have no moral sense, and are in fact incapable of it. let's not forget that good MEN created liberalism, moral philosophy, and the laws of the land.

Feminists don't give a fuck about justice or equality. they just care about getting theirs. when you realize that, everything will make sense. remember, it is men that invented justice and equality
/r/MensRights22/05/11 08:33 AM

I'm sorry, but I am offended by transexuals, and in my opinion it is or should be illegal for them to offer themselves to hetero men without warning. I don't see how Men's Rights has anything to do with them, and I think it's a mistake to include them in our "mandate" on here. Men's Rights started because of men getting fucked over by the law with respect to divorce and false rape accusations. Transsexuals have the LGBT community to support them.
/r/MensRights09/05/11 04:21 AM

Nope, because men and women are different. Are you new here? If you're in favor of women's unhappiness, go for it.
/r/MensRights30/04/11 09:15 PM

they were better off because they said they were happier. it's not my opinion. why they were happier as housewives is up for some speculation. science has shown us that fewer choices make us happier. i'm sure it's less stressful to be a housewife than a lawyer. obviously, some women weren't happy, namely the ones that started feminism, but that doesn't mean it's better for the majority of women.
/r/MensRights30/04/11 07:36 PM
-1

You can never prove causation, only infer it by simuating counterfactuals. This doesn't change the fact that women were happier when they were housewives. Also your statement about my statement being non-factual is non-factual. Women in our peer group get paid 8% more than men. http://www.time.com/time/business/article/0,8599,2015274,00.html Recoil was lying by perpetuating the myth that women we're severely disadvantaged in the past.

I'm suggesting that the average american woman, a capitalist, straight christian, isn't best served by listening to an ideology crafted by communist lesbians. In the same way that it's not a good idea to ask a homeless person for financial advice.
/r/MensRights30/04/11 04:32 PM

Lol ya women's lives are horrible, what with the college and better pay than men and easy ass jobs. Correlation is a necessary condition for causation btw. I'm sorry that women made a bad choice and listened to the wrong crowd and are now unhappy. It's an easy fix!

The only consistent philosophy of feminism is that they are only out to get theirs. Their other beliefs are not self-consistent, in particular shit like this. Feminists are anti-American communists that are against the free market. They want a woman with a literature degree working part time to make the same as an engineer working 60 hours a week. There is no wage gap when a woman with the same degree and experience works the same hours as a man. In fact, in many cases, women get paid more.
