Dude some advice just picking up off the attitude you're portraying in your comments. Stop wishing for a different reality. You're born in the year you're born, don't look at the past as better than the time you're born in you can never find happiness that way. I've been there when I was younger and know many people who never grew out of that. It is counter productive. In response to your initial post... People were more social and had better social skills, the world is different now accept that…

There are many Men with all those characteristics who still such at meeting women. The key is to have goals in all aspects you listed as well as actively going out of your comfort zone talking to women. Don't assume they will come to you. You are the man you are meant to approach.

I feel more social pressure approaching girls in small local towns than in a big crowded town that i live further away from. Just asking for advice on getting over caring about it.

Youtube it, it's great, go out with a mate see girls and run up like "excuse me i just saw you and thoguht you looked really nice, so I had to come say hello" then have a chat. Theres tips to getting better at it for better results, but it is just the best most natural way :)

Ignore that about approaching direct. Always go in with something on the lines of "excuse me, I saw you and thought you looked really nice so I had to come say hello" the more in the moment the better

jheez that is you reading so far in to things that it's not healthy dude "Ironically, that indicates low confidence." I hate seeing dumb ass comments like that. He has adopted the typical youtube style of understanding people have a short attention span. The average youtube is basically a kid in terms of attention span during videos.

Approach asking for directions some where. This is what I've been doing lately, has got my confidence with flirting because I leave a fair few giggling and smiling. Make some lighthearted banter/ teasing and have fun, don't be weird with it. So just open confident with an "excuse me" and put your hand out getting there full attention, wait a moment to speak when they have stopped to listen. Then say something like "I'm a little lost, you look like you would know where [insert shop/coffee place n…

Dude? that's not messing up at all. Just message "Hey, I forgot to grab your number" Maybe add like I prefer to text than Facebook, or don't. That really isn't a big deal at all..

Your example there I hate when people do that. A person who I unfortunately have to associate does this, always bigs himself up and everyone hates that and hates him. Even though he says it, supposedly, in a joking way. Being confident does not mean complimenting yourself, you don't need compliments, what I think of the person in my example who does this to himself is that he has an actual low self esteem (used to be good friends and he told me) and he need to compliment himself to make him feel…

I like ThrowawayPUA's response, and would say visit a counselors. Here is my advice, if you want to start again with talking to women, I would say the easiest place is in shops, as it is their job to talk to you. If you're at a coffee place or something aim for the female cashier, make a joke with her keep smiling and friendly. Also a clothes store, aim for the female clerk and have a little joke with them. This will hopefully get you started with talking to women. At the moment don't try to get…
