Rotate around the bar and groups so it seems everyone knows you then new people who enters will find you more intresting aswell. ;) worked for me for years! What about for someone who's never been to a bar cause my friends don't really go to bars? I also don't drink. I wouldn't know what to do. These aren't excuses btw, I'm just looking for some direction, I'd love to try going to a bar on my own but I just don't know what to do in a bar especially if I'm not even drinking

Do not get a personal trainer, a majority of trainers at commercial gyms aren't optionally educated to educate and teach you gimmicky methods. You're much better off filtering out the bullshit on the internet. Start by reading the FAQs on /r/fitness , /r/bodybuilding and /r/gainit (even if you're not looking to gain, plenty of useful information about strength training)
