The lobby in my nice apartment complex used to have food network on the tv 24/7. A few months ago it changed to sports, and I'd be lying if I said it wasn't annoying. Residents can't change the channel and all of the people working in the office are women so I have no idea why it's suddenly on sports.

You make a very valid point. I have a very, very abusive ex who had BPD as well. The difference between us was that mine is treated and managed, whereas his was not and he was a really horrible person. I have never done the things he put me through to another person and can't imagine ever hurting someone that way. It's unfortunate though because regardless of gender, those of us with BPD still have to deal with the horrible stigma attached to having it.

What are some methods you use to look men up? Here in Oregon court records are public so I put their name in on there, and aside from that I've been using Spokeo (which I'm iffy about continuing to pay for because sometimes it's incorrect). I also google their number as well as find their Facebook and Instagram. I'd love to hear more suggestions beyond what I'm already doing.

As someone who has dealt with harassment from a man in my building, I didn't block his number because if I had I might not have known when his behavior was escalating. Once he moved out I blocked his number, but with them living in the same building I wouldn't advise doing that. However I really don't know why she bothered arguing with him.

Before I learned my lesson, chefs and bartenders were my type so I've dated a lot of them. Without exception they all abused alcohol and did a lot of coke. Honestly, I didn't. First time I found the girlfriend on Facebook. Second time I found the wife on Instagram (we had met before). I was willing to take the chance because they both deserved to know. Depending on what she was drugged with, there's a very limited timeframe to test positive for many if the traditional roofie drugs. See, that's why off leash dogs need to be extremely well behaved and only off leash in appropriate places. While dog wouldn't be off leash in that situation, he absolutely adores kids. In my very early 20s, I stayed with a terrible man who physically abused me and tried to poison my cat. $3000 in vet bills and thankfully she was okay (she turned 12 a couple months ago) but I convinced myself he couldn’t possibly have done it. Seriously though. A couple years ago I almost died from a ruptured ectopic pregnancy. When I lost consciousness on my way to the bathroom, my dog (and my cat!) came running. My dog didn’t leave my side and he licked my face and whined to try and wake me up. What did my abusive boyfriend at the time do? Came home with food he got for himself and stepped over me on the floor so he could go eat. Yeah, I pick my dog any day.
