The meaning of "boundaries"My therapist’s great comment: people with high value and self-respect are aware of their boundaries, and they communicate them well. When people have no boundaries and no healthy way to communicate their needs, it shows in the way they treat you and respond to your boundaries. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 20/08/21 03:55 PM
What tell-tale signs or How to vet for a guy that won't cheat after x amount of years?I’m no psychologist, but I think that some people might have multiple relationships where they get cheated on because of the type of people they date. It’s why FDS requires strong vetting: to keep the cheaters away at all costs. I know that we don’t choose cheaters on purpose. Who would consciously do that? But there are certain childhood/formative experiences that can subtly lead us to recreate past trauma, like being abandoned or cheated on! | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 25/07/21 10:17 PM
What tell-tale signs or How to vet for a guy that won't cheat after x amount of years?Thank you for the resource! Interesting excerpt for tl;dr: "Our results indicated a three-fold increase in the likelihood that a person will engage in infidelity if they already have a history of [cheating] and a two- to four-fold increase in the likelihood of having a partner [cheat] if a person knew about or suspected infidelity from a past relationship partner." | 1 | Anyone else find certain shows/movies infuriating now that you've found FDS?Omg that show!! I’m surprised you’re still watching it if you hate it 😂 but yeah it’s interesting that they have so many sexist tropes of women — the hypersexual cougar, the devious wife... | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 01/06/21 08:04 PM
Anyone else find certain shows/movies infuriating now that you've found FDS?SO TRUE! Sex and the City literally revolves around the following: Carrie is intrigued by Big's charm/mysteriousness --> she tries to get his attention/affection --> he can't meet her standards/actively chooses not to meet them --> she gets upset, yet doesn't follow her friends' advice to leave --> she gives him the benefit of the doubt --> rinse and repeat. Exhausting | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 29/05/21 11:50 PM
Anyone else find certain shows/movies infuriating now that you've found FDS?Yeah, that makes sense! It's great that we can now think more critically about the relationships, interactions, drama etc that we see on screen! | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 29/05/21 11:47 PM
Anyone else find certain shows/movies infuriating now that you've found FDS?Totally agree about everything you said, especially the ads. I am just starting my career as an advertising copywriter, and I want to make sure that my work strays as far from humanly possible from those sexist ideas and NVM tropes! | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 29/05/21 11:34 PM

Anyone else find certain shows/movies infuriating now that you've found FDS?Completely agree!! It bugs me so much when people ask their friends for advice and then don’t take it, most of all when Carrie does it! | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 29/05/21 11:32 PM
Anyone else find certain shows/movies infuriating now that you've found FDS?Absolutely!! “How do you even have time” you’re asking all the right questions 😂 | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 29/05/21 11:31 PM
