I think I'm fairly attractive, I'm fit, have my shit together, and I'm not social recluse either. I don't want to use my money to get more attractive because it's a fool's bargain; they would be attracted to the money and not me as a person. I want someone to want me for who I am, not what I can provide for them

Mostly international travel, I've been to 7 countries so far. Apart from that, video games, hiking/climbing/rowing, gym, and motorcycle racing

It is, I got my dream job working with rocket engines. It's very lonely for a lot of us though, the only people at work I know that are married or dating are the handful of women on the team

Aerospace engineering. Lol actual rocket science is easier than dating at this point

I'm almost at that point, as are many of the men I know that work in STEM. We just focus on making money and doing what we want. As much as it hurts some days, it gets easier the more you push the thoughts of women out of your head

Why is it that every time this gets brought up, someone immediately tries to be politically correct and say these men might have no sex drive at all? News flash, ace/aro are a tiny portion of the population, and mens' desires exist and matter

Lmao your logic has a fatal flaw...YOU choose who got to ride that "coochie carousel", and the men you chose for that all left you in the lurch because you were just one girl out of many options. Then, when the time comes when you want to "settle" for the guys you never considered before, they take one look at what you bring to the table and say "no thanks". You should learn to take responsibility for your choices and understand that your shitty judgement on men doesn't mean all men are shit

To be fair, that was done after a depressingly high percentage of all men in the USSR died fighting the Nazi invasion. Those single mothers were almost entirely widowers receiving their husband's military pensions, and the extra tax was to ensure that the next generation would be provided for

You know that's not what's being referred to here. The OP is asking for the scenario where the person who is settling views the settled for guy as nothing more than a placeholder because she thought she could do better, but didn't

I wouldn't demand anything, I would just leave. The other person doesn't owe me anything and I don't owe her anything either

This. It's not about finding a unicorn, it's about finding someone who is consistent. If they treat you differently than they treated other guys before you and make you wait when they didn't, it sends the message that you're not as into the new guy and are settling. If you found out that a guy you're with took all his previous girlfriends on special trips and experiences, but is only wanting to stay at home and watch Netflix with you, wouldn't you wonder if he was just keeping you around as a pl…

What skills would you recommend for a college student to pursue, if they are already in a STEM degree pathway?

If you watch The Expanse, Avasarala says something along the lines of your thoughts, and this extends to red pill and blue pill systems of thinking. "One of us is wrong. I think it's you, but I hope it's me." But the difference here is that AWALT is true. You know now, so don't let your guard down next time.

That's because his fuck you money had fuck you money. When your divorce includes figuring out who owns the private space program (Blue Origin), it's kinda guaranteed that he'll stay filthy rich
