I actually didn’t see it, but I did see where Amber Heard claimed people didn’t see it because “they’re sexist and not ready for female leads”, completely ignoring the fact that the previous two Charlie’s Angels were huge hits, and apparently the Resident Evil, Underworld, Tomb Raider, Erin Brockovich, Monster, Hunger Games, Twilight, Gravity, Captain Marvel, Maleficent, Bridesmaids, GI Jane, The Heat, Kill Bill, Hanna, Edge Of Tomorrow, Alien, and Wonder Woman weren’t all massive hits.

I like how movies like this and the new Charlie’s Angels tanked and it’s because of the “patriarchy” and “sexism” in America. Never mind the fact there are multiple Academy Award winning actresses and female protagonist blockbuster hits. This is what happens when everyone gets a trophy. It’s definitely someone else’s fault the movie wasn’t a hit, it couldn’t possibly be that the movie was poorly made.

I’m pretty sure this is a clear cut example of discrimination. You can’t legally ask people this kind of stuff in an interview, just like you can’t legally ask about religious identity, sexual preference, age, any of that stuff. I’m sure people do, but that’s an opening for a law suit

This is not accurate at all. A few countries yes, but UAE, Kuwait, Jordan, Israel, have all become very western and women enjoy a lot of rights and freedoms. Not as much as Americans and Europeans, but way more than some SW Asia countries.

I wonder if she’s aware that all officers are required to have college degrees, and the vast majority of senior NCOs and Warrants also have associates degrees at a minimum. Many have college degrees also. There’s a shit ton of people that join the military specifically so they can afford to go to college. Or maybe she just hates people that have a job with benefits, unlike her coffee stand.
