Like you, I once dated a fashion model from a well-known agency, not someone from OnlyFans or Instagram. It was fascinating to see how we were treated when we went out. We bypassed the lines at the most exclusive clubs and gained entry without any issues. Either they or their companions knew the bouncers, which meant we immediately received VIP access just by association. Whenever we went to a normal bar (and her friends were also models), men would approach us. They completely ignored me and tr…

i’d say where men start to have success is in the 8+ tier a 7 guy will likely have some success here and there but close to none or very little on average (unless they date down) whereas a 7 girl will be fucking 9-10 tier men (even though they wouldn’t settle for them)

i seen this too think of the highly educated phd types high iq girls that are career and school focused i seen these type go for 8+ tier men that just have sex with them and use them. these are guys that aren’t high iq / academic / don’t pursue higher careers they don’t provide these girls with anything other than sex the one i know was devastated by such men and continued to date them regardless they aren’t exactly interested in their high iq / academically focused male counterparts i think the…

in my case i follow a bunch of models because i personally know them and am friends with them. if you check they follow me back and sometimes even like my post. but these aren’t insta models, more like women that appear in designer clothing advertisements

It’s a false premise to assume only average or below average men struggle with dating you can be an above average guy (say a 7 out of 10) and still be single for 5-10+ years without dating. lots of men are too shy, don’t make moves and the algorithms may even work against them in dating apps (they may get unlucky and despite being objectively attractive the algorithms may lump them in the unattractive bucket due to the mass left swipes almost all men receive).

the average man in general doesn’t do well at all on the dating apps. most average men don’t get any matches and the ones that do don’t get replies / first dates out of them average men that do well on dating apps are incredibly lucky and a statistical outlier even attractive men can have similar experiences as the average guy, even if only slightly better (say instead of 2 dates a year they may get 5-25 and statistically almost none of them will lead to a second as well) for very attractive men…

the harm is the algorithms rank an average guy in the bottom tier of the ELO ranking due to the massive amount of left swipes they receive upfront whenever they made their profile. this means they aren’t in the swipe stacks of attractive users and likely their likes aren’t even received by whoever they swipe on. it’s basically a waste of time to even have the app because they’re effectively shadowbanned

let’s say it’s an average 35-40 matches per one good relationship for both women and men let’s say an average guy gets an average of 12 matches a year and let’s say on average .5 of them reply to his first message. that’s 6 women that replied to his first message. now let’s say out of those 6 only 4 agreed to a first date. let’s say out of those 4 only 2 didn’t flake. out of those 2 let’s say he got 0 second dates. then the guy is SOL and that was his year of online dating he didn’t even get a c…

i don’t think you understand the argument well “men tend to date across or down” means “men tend to date either across or down” it doesn’t make a quantify which case is the majority (you are imposing an an interpretation that i did not make about this quantification & then claiming i made this argument and arguing against it) WLOG, the above holds for the analogous case for women

i hope you can understand what dating “across” means because i made statements that men tend to date across and down, women across and up i did not say men strictly date down, or women strictly date up this takes into account the issues you brought up

what you said is a misinterpretation and an incorrect interpolation of my comment.

9-10 men can date other 9-10 women 9-10 women tend to date 9-10 men there is no such thing as 11 men so what you mention doesn’t make any sense

i think the average guy you see out and about is between a 5-6 i think “attractive” men’s threshold is around a 7 but a 7 guy will have far more difficulty dating than a 7 girl a 7 guy has realistic shots with 5-6 women, whereas most 7+ women will have no interest in him a 7 guy may not even “feel attractive” due to the lack of attention he’d get in dating apps and IRO an 8+ guy is where a guy would get much more attention online and IRL and will know they’re attractive due to the options and at…

you’re right on the money in regards to my personal experience. i had a high paying job and took my ex to many nice vacation trips, dinners, and so on all expensed. helped her with manual labor around fixing up a new house she had bought and even poured money into helping her get the house looking better. the day i was laid off (in tech industry) she said “i felt like i lost my job”. i thought that was a weird comment to make. severance was enough to last me for several years (i lived a low expe…
