To me, cooking is creative & fun, and once you learn basics, it’s easy to rotate through dishes and then uplevel them. Unlike baking, you have more room for error and don’t need to be SO precise. I’d start off with learning how to make proteins- chicken, steak, and a fish (let’s say salmon). Buy simple seasonings (salt, black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, dried herbs, cayenne if you like spice) and then either fry, bake, or even air fry! You don’t have to use all the spices, you’…

I'm not; it's too soon to be bf/gf? I don't want to move that fast.. Regardless of what he says, I don't think she's going anywhere, considering he considers her to be so close and is very much a part of his social circle. Just sucks for me

What stands out most form this post is the negative opinions and beliefs about yourself: you're not attractive, you don't attract men, you're inferior, etc. Self-fulfilling prophecy? These negative beliefs should be addressed first and foremost before you try attracting a lasting partner. Take stock of your belief system about yourself and then question why you feel that way; is it rational, would you come to the same conclusion about someone else, is it based on fact, etc. If you want to PM me …

Hey- try the book "Taming your Gremlin" by Rick Carson. I meditate/do yoga but this book helped me more than all that. In conjunction with meditating and working out, already KNOWING and being aware that this is how you are prone to act, and your already busy life, you should see some great improvement. Check out the book, I think the techniques will help a lot :)

Well guess it wasn't "no strings attached". I didn't offer it, but we were out and it would have led to that after. and he stopped it before it happened. So if he wanted to just hook up with me, he could have, and just broke up with me after.

Thank u for the honest advice. It’s so hard to get real, helpful advice so I’m grateful :) I’d be very open to a real, honest conversation. I’m just not trying to force him/annoy him.. how could I start this without making him feel pressured or like I’m trying to force a commitment on him? I thought I should let the guy lead? So I would wait for him to make a move etc. He also is very stuck on things I said in the past (completely stupid on me) which was basically that I’ve never had to chase a …

Thanks, this is really solid advice. I guess I get confused because when we talked 2 weeks after he broke up w me, he was saying he would still like to hangout with me, enjoys talking to me, was heavily flirting... so it just makes me assume he’s scared/hesitant because of the PAST. And I can’t change what happened in the past u know... I guess I could try to have an honest conversation but it just feels pathetic having to convince someone instead of then just giving me a chance

Thank you :) And wouldn’t being friends let him get to know me and see I’m not that person, and give us a chance to grow and develop naturally?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
