Ok, so stop being in intimate relationships with men entirely if that's what you think? If you always need an exit plan in all circumstances, always need to be 5,000% self-sufficient no matter what, always consider every man including and especially your longtime intimate partner/spouse to be a potential abuser.... you might as well just be an independent single woman and avoid the potential abuse.
