| 2 | Male Privilege.They aren't allowed in active combat roles in the U.S. (they are in many other countries: Australia, Germany, France, Canada, Italy... the list goes on). This, however, doesn't mean that women don't die in combat. They do, albeit not nearly as often as male U.S. soldiers. They can't be assigned as infantrymen legally, but they can be sent in as medics, MP, things like that.
