Thank you for your response!! His reply was “Yes, I’ll be your boyfriend.” I just feel so awkward about the whole thing because in my head, it would’ve played out where he responded with like 70% chance or somewhat likely/highly likely. It was only our 3rd date and I meant for it to be a hint. So far he has initiated texts, but no mention of another date. I will just completely back off, detach my emotions, observe his actions and read the recovering Pick Me section.

Nice to know I’m not the only one. What do you do about sweet words? When he texts me things like “You’re adorable, you know that?” I can feel myself start swooning....how do I stop this from happening?

Thank you! I’m bad at waiting... I will work on developing patience...and creating distractions for myself.

Thank you! There are a few guys I am texting with but I’m not sure if our conversations are going anywhere and I’m also not sure if they are interested in taking me out on a date or not...so do I just wait until they ask me out?

How does one date several men at a time trying to find the best fit for you without becoming exhausted with the process?

Can someone please explain why a walk in the park is a bad date idea? I actually like walking in the park because it gives me a chance to relax, think, and enjoy nature. Sometimes I do some journaling while I’m there. In my head, walking and talking with a guy as a date sounds nice. Should I just stick to walks in the park with my dog?

Can someone please explain what this ‘build’ crap is? I’ve had multiple guys talk about ‘building’ a connection/relationship, by none of them come through with it. Is this just like a phrase guys throw around that really means they’re not serious about you?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
