I am disgusted by the way men and other women are treated by abusive women and how accepted it is. I’ve known so many horrible women who abuse their spouses, kids, entire families emotionally, financially, physically and sexually and it is somehow different than when men do it to women. There’s no logical reason for it to be so and it lets controlling, violent and abusive women not only get away with their maladaptive behaviours but be praised for being “strong women” who “keep their man/kids/fam…

BECAUSE I'm a man, I am a higher risk of having an accident There is no direct correlation between being male and traffic accidents, but because more traffic accidents are caused by men the insurance companies can justify charging more. Anything an insurance company can do to charge more,(and justify) they will. Of course I have no idea how they come up with the numbers and am just assuming greed from the insurance companies. Funny article.

Unless the physical/eyewitness evidence is overwhelming there really is no way to prove rape. I think lie detector tests should be admissable if it's a "he said, she said" kind of thing.

A prostitute/pimp that kills her husband over a few thousand dollars is a shitty human being. Pimps in general seem to be a pretty nasty lot whatever the gender.

One's own take, or personal opinion, is not necessarily accurate. The truth is that things are pretty shitty for women in a lot of parts of the world, mostly due to the Islamic religion and India's caste system. This is fact. Does this mean that women should be superior to men over here, where things are substantially better? Of course not. I disagree with the depiction of men as monsters as it is a ridiculous concept. Men are victims of abuse by women and men should have equal rights to their c…

You purposely misinterpreted Objectification to suit your argument. Objectification, seeing people ONLY as objects is certainly wrong (and inaccurate), but not seeing people as objects at all is impossible. And women objectify men. There are two components (among others) to a person, the objective and subjective. Denying that the first exists is silly and stupid. The interpretation of Objectification Andrea Dworkin intended was that of regarding women entirely or primarily as sex objects. To reg…

He's saying he's so gay that he finds the mere mention of the word "straight" offensive. So gay he doesn't understand the word straight. Ahhh...maybe you are ESL....straight is a synonym for heterosexual in English. Also, to go in a straight line is the same as going forward...to add emphasis on not liking heterosexuality, you add the word gay...

Agree with you on everything. Prostitution and strip clubs are run by criminal organizations for the most part, so the girls aren't protected and no tax is paid. The porn industry is really changing now that so many people offering their homemade stuff for free. Free porn with ad revenue is the future. I think if women actually owned their sexuality there would be less need for prostitutes. Way more women would be promiscuous if there wasn't a social stigma attached to it. I honestly cannot unde…

Her interpretation is that intercourse has been portrayed as something a man does to a woman; like a conquest. Because intercourse has been presented as something which possesses and therefore demeans women, men can't help objectifying women while having intercourse with them. Pretty close to what she said. I don't personally agree with it.

http://www.nostatusquo.com/ACLU/dworkin/LieDetect.html I'm not sold on the exploitation of strippers & porn stars, it seems equated to labor work IMO...selling your body to earn a living. Movers lose years of their lives because of physical injuries and stress....and never mind rig workers. All work for pay seems like exploitation, really.

That's all well and good, but Andrea Dworkin has been quoted often that she does not actually think all intercourse is rape and never intended that interpretation of her book, "Intercourse". The woman in the meme, who mentioned that Feminism believes all intercourse is rape, is basing her opinion on this bit of misinformation. edit 4 spell

I know, I'm a woman and I look at porn whenever I can (which sadly is once a week). Every single one of my female friends has asked me about their SO's porn habits. And other than my ex-husband who was weirded out by my own porn prefs., I rarely hear men complaining about their SO'S porn habits. That's a fact. Why is this? I think it's largely because women are sexually repressed. We are told to find this sort of thing distasteful or be considered impure. We can only respectfully view our porn t…

Me too! I think the reasoning flaw people get caught up in is when we are told that anyone can be a violent criminal, it does not follow that everyone is. In fact, most men will not rape you or even try to rape you. Really, if you think about the hundreds of people each of us comes into contact with on a daily basis, and the number of times any of us has been raped, the percentage is very small. Unless of course you live with a violent person/rapist. This however, is still only one person. That …

I'm just wondering, if your wife is a bit of a schnook, maybe she and your kids are the ones being taken advantage of by this "doctor". Assuming your family was okay before, it would be best for the kids to have Dad around, not some stranger with no genetic link to them whatsoever. Have you tried family therapy?

I believe we have to have some sort of state/economic/social structure in order for me to have things like the Internet,TP,and good coffee (which I don't trust the Anarchists to provide). This is about more than feminism, this is about poverty and social support. There are also a lot of homeless men who can't find a shelter to sleep in because such a small percentage of the shelters are co-ed or male only. Men have a harder time collecting social assistance, and when they do, it's the lowest amount available. They are expected to take shit-shoveling type jobs in welfare-to-work programs and are given very little sympathy despite their backgrounds. A woman who has suffered severe …

She was no princess to us,either. When the social worker finally came for me my living situation made her cry. Stepmom bullied my father and my 2 sisters to live in the basement suite of the house he paid for while she and her kids from a previous marriage (including my half sister) lived upstairs. Feminism is supposed to be about equal rights for women, not superior rights. If a person thinks that women should have more rights than men, they are not Feminists, they are advocates of female superiority. Likewise, the Men's Rights Movement is about male equality, not male superiority. Gender Supremacists, on the other hand, promote their gender and disparage the opposite gender by fostering generalizations.
