My ex started dating me in one of my most vulnerable positions. I was extremely depressed and wasn’t in contact with any friends. I only dated him for a few months (thank GOD) but at one point he bragged to me about how he psychologically manipulated me into liking him. Then he explained how he was great at manipulating people and how he was a puppet master who could manipulate people on strings. I was a total pickmeisha before this depressive episode so I kind of explained it away. Thank god I …

Let me tell you about my mom and her family because dear lord. My grandmother PRAYED for a first born son and got her wish. He never had a full time job in his life, never got married, was addicted to computers, and died early a few years ago due to the illnesses he contracted from never going out and interacting with others. He ended up just living with his mother or in his parent’s small shore house. My mom tells me horror stories about how he’d just never do laundry as a young man and his gra…

I’m in the same position. It’s so hard to find female friends in the first place as an introvert. Now quarantine has made it so much worse :/

Can I just say though that like...your husband talking to her about it, especially in a gentle way, is literally the epitome of high value behavior. And unfortunately the woman is probably unintentionally and unconsciously passing pickme ideals to her child by telling her that. :/ This is such a great example of how high value behavior is something every gender should work towards and isn’t a phrase used to “only put down men” like the haters love to tout. It’s up to high value people to help ou…

Seriously though! Kinda glad other people see it. The past few years I’ve been shocked cause that analogy applies so well to feminism

Oh god, I completely feel you girl. I’m an actress and I literally cannot handle how patronizing they can be. Do anything artistic and they think it’s a “cute hobby” 🙄 Also, I LOVE that last part about a lvm being someone who can’t handle anything out of the box. I need to put it as a quote on my wall or something lol

Please though, that’d be literally incredible and so helpful. If you have any tips for depression as well that’d be wonderful. I have both as well and damn they feed into each other so much. Also those gems are gorgeous! And for getting through that he’ll you deserve them! 💖

Yeah I definitely agree with eyeinmaiden, that telling the wives is a very bad idea. I’m definitely the person who’d like to know as well, but sometimes the wife may take it out on you even if you did everything to reject their husband. Saw this with a couple a few years ago and my friend cut the other girl off right away and kept her cheating boyfriend :/

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
