What do you think about platonic co-parenting (non-romantic family creation)? That is, finding a partner to create a family with you're not actually in love with.Agree. And thats the healthy marriages that last. I'm surprised people haven't just married platonic friends yet just for the perks. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/02/24 07:18 PM
Why is confidence such an aphrodisiac?Collectivistic cultures frown upon behaviours that ironically would pull the most chicks. The individualistic confidence is effective but frowned upon because historically collectivistic cultures rely on arranged marriages to procreate anyway. Those are the traditional values but its mostly eroded. I don't care about trad values much personally but this is what I observed in an expensive Asian country. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 14/01/24 10:54 AM
Dating, investments, homeownership, and financial prioritiesNot owning a home asap seems foolish. Not American but I think Americans get the benefit of fixed mortgage that is way more advantageous over renting in the long term. After a certain time you're done with a mortgage and own your own place outright. You can even pay mortgage in advance or leverage the debt to invest in stocks. Also you don't have to worry about a shitty landlord. Granted I come from a country with high home ownership but yeah. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 14/01/24 07:30 AM
Dating, investments, homeownership, and financial prioritiesFor men the reverse makes more sense. Owning a home shows a woman that you're responsible and financially stable. How can someone provide without a home? Makes no sense. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 13/01/24 09:53 PM
Q4A : Do you think parents are confused as to why their perfectly normal son hasn’t found a partner in their late twenties and early thirties? No worries! I think not dating in one's teen years shouldn't be odd. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 26/06/23 10:59 PM
Q4A : Do you think parents are confused as to why their perfectly normal son hasn’t found a partner in their late twenties and early thirties?I was somewhat in the same boat as your daughter and a lot of this was due to a controlling and overbearing mother. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 26/06/23 10:39 PM
Being Emotionally Available and a Good Communicator is Reduces the Chance for Sustained Attraction for Men Seeking a Relationship.Asian relationships have a transactional and materialistic aspect to it. Because "face" is very important in Chinese culture. Its important to be seen to be doing well as much as actually be doing well. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 09/06/23 11:01 AM
