Yeah, tried a few, and most amount to old-timey medicine shows. Sure, you can apply the techniques, and you will get through the material very quickly, but you remember so little about it that you might as well have not done it at all. I've always been a fast reader, but the idea of flipping through a book in seconds with perfect recollection like Data on Star Trek always appealed to me.
