1	Man changed name on his CV to a female name and got 870% more responses for an interview. Or its creepy old guys who just want to be surrounded by young girls. I can confirm, I've seen this a lot, even with an office job. Almost everyone outside of IT was a very attractive young girl or a model worthy middle aged woman. Where I live there are jobs only accessible to women or minorities, it's even written in some job offers that white men can't apply (mostly high ranking and high paying jobs). If I was a woman with the same set of skills as I have right now, I'd probably have 50k more than my current salary I grew up being told women were smarter than men by multiple teachers.
