While technically correct, it may be better in this case to just let it go. I am sure he does not want a legal fight on his hands, which will likely induce considerable stress upon himself along with loss of time with his daughter and his time.

It could go either way in my opinion. You are really rolling the dice. If she does not need $400/mo and maybe only $300/mo then the financial affidavit would be perfect to show her income. However, the judge could easily determine based on what you can afford and what is due that $400/mo is adequate and you'd be kicking yourself if you got a financial affidavit and the judge determined the actual ruling to be $500/mo. So I'd go for the default judgement because it will probably put you in a good…

This is the crux of the problem. Men don't perceive something as deserving an apology. Also, when they apologize, we men expect it to be over and done with. Not this drawn out BS or have to be reminded of it constantly for the rest of our lives. Major differences in the sexes indeed.

I think they should be innocent until proven guilty, but unfortunately there have been cases where a woman cries wolf when she was not actually raped and this has tainted people's idea of justice when it comes to rape.
