Grey rock saved me. If you're not familiar with it look it up. Keep interacting as if everything is a business transaction. Try not to get lured into reacting emotionally to anything. 😂 - wow, sounds familiar. Mine also went on a spiritual journey and decided that life was better single. Luckily i get 50/50 custody, although i don’t feel like her maternal instinct has kicked in at all.

Same experience here (without the jail or violence). Started off wanting to be sensible but then she was fixated on keeping the house at all costs which was probably the result of the people she was spending her time with. In the end i went hybrid no-contact which is the best you can do with kids or living together and it made a big difference to my quality of life.
