These would all be positive steps, but I don’t see it as “fixing” dating/marriage by any stretch of the imagination. The main problems with MF relations are things that no court of law can solve. For example, women losing libido in LTRs while men generally dont. Or women gaining 50 lbs after marriage. Or men no longer “dating” women when they feel like they already possess her. Your proposals might fix the more egregious problems in the gender wars, but the underlying conflict remains. Male and …

I would make an actual matchmaking based app. Matchmakers jobs are to put people on first dates (not blind, you get to see the other persons profile and accept/decline first) based on their dating criteria, intro video, personal stats vs someone elses dating criteria, and even suggest date venues and such. Matchmakers get rated on performance and you have to stay above 4/5 stars or you get booted. Matchmakers also get a small commission paid by the app company based on their rating. You can only…

Extrapolate the future though. Dating apps are gaining popularity, becoming normalized and thats not abating. The technology is simply too convenient for humans to not use, long term

Why are there many women who complain about men sucking in bed, yet no man ever admits to sucking in bed? I mean, in terms of women actually discussing male prowess in bed, there arent many women around who are like "men are great in bed!" What explains THAT? Is it still considered slutty for women to enjoy sex? Why do men and women seem to talk right past each other in threads about male sexual prowess? Men claim to be great at it, women complain men suck, no one ever actually talks to each oth…

Nah I just want to publish videogames, buy a couple dogs and move to Alaska. Live out the rest of my days as an angry hobo with wifi.

Tried that, wife got more pissed, tense and less loving/sexual the longer it went on. I agree with whoever wrote the book "First, kill all marriage counselors"

Not me. I openly admit to myself that I'm doing like 30% of what I can to add value to my relationship. Mine's already a lost cause. Fuck it. Low level maintenance until the kids are grown and then we'll see.

If you have to lie to yourself about stuff, then yeah, your relationship is probably not worth it.

I think a lot of the more bitter "pilled" guys assume that women have no actual character, or that it doesn't matter anyway because they will betray you and "drop the mask" at a moment's notice. At least women's looks only degrade in quality slowly and at a predictable rate. I've never been like that, I can totally get attracted to a woman on the basis of personality. For instance I have always been repulsed by obese women. Enter a friend of my wife's who is obese, but cute in the face, charming…

Well, a partner who doesn't reciprocate your investment isn't really worth being with Of course. But to what extent? If your partner NEVER reciprocates ANYTHING you do, then they certainly aren't worth being with. But no partner will ever reciprocate everything, because no one is perfect. The question is how much reciprocation is needed to make the relationship "worth it". And the best way to answer this question is to decide in advance, and then give your partner something like an annual review…

Psychological strength and power are the essence of being alpha. Put simply, it's the ability to define and achieve your own goals, and bend others to your will where necessary. Generalized traits like ambition, determination, having an "iron will", ruthlessness, selfishness, manipulativeness, "frame" ie self assuredness, charisma, willingness to engage in conflict, risk taking, rebelliousness and bending the rules, social dominance, competitiveness - these are all alpha traits. They are the tra…

I think my only issue is my preference for steelmanning someones arguments, in order to get a better debate or discussion. Its very easy to dismiss the OP because of his personality or whatever, and in so doing miss the chance to actually discuss ideas. When everyone is just calling the OP a dumbass or a whiner, even if he is, its still basically a waste of a thread and everyones time.

People overestimate how much value they provide others and underestimate how much value others provide to them. Dunning Kruger effect. Given flawed and biased human perception, the natural end result of your proposal is everyone giving less and less to their partner until both reach zero giving. You wont notice or appreciate it every time your partner does something for you and vice versa. You’ll sometimes think you are being generous with your partner when you aren’t, and vice versa. Much healt…

Im just tired of the female circlejerk about men not making them orgasm and the male circlejerk about always making women cum. Obviously both views cant be true at the same time, yet these are the only views you will hear from either gender. Someone needs to figure out wtf is actually going on.

I think it might qualify as "trashy" but that might be my classism showing. I wouldn't call it bad parenting. If you took your kids to hooters and made lewd comments about the staff, THAT would be bad parenting, but if you just took them there for some wings or whatever, fine. There are many cultures and places in the country where exposing kids to adult culture is not seen as nefarious... i remember in the early 90s my best friends dad taking us to bars and shit and his friends would be smoking…

They can say this because, well, they can. Society lets them. It doesn't let men. Sometimes double standards exist. If you despise double standards and political correctness, as I do, then get as many people as you can gather and vote Trump in 2020. And come out as a Trump supporter at work, school or wherever and have some conversations and try to change minds. Be a part of the movement trying to stand up to the left's bullshit. Posting about here certainly isn't going to change minds, but IRL …

Of COURSE they make you wait for sex. They want power over you. Making you wait for sex = power. The average femoid is vastly more interested in how much power she can exert over a male than whatever insignificant temporal physical pleasure he can provide through coitus. Money, power, and status .. all gained through manipulation. Foids barely give a shit about sex insofar as it being an idle diversion, they're far more interested in what they can get in exchange for it.
