| 8 | UVa dean files defamation lawsuit over Rolling Stone rape storyCorrect. She threw all the frats under the bus by suspending them without cause. There have been a few initiatives at the school to prevent sexual assault, but I have been told by students there that they are nothing more than PR moves. | /r/MensRights | 12/05/15 09:21 PM |
| 3 | Man revives woman with AED, but branded 'pervert' for removing her clothes to apply electrode pads (xpost /r/nottheonion)I don't know why you're getting downvoted, you make perfect sense. In response to the other comments on your post: u/TracyMorganFreeman, no I don't think anyone would "feel the same way if the person they saved pressed charges and said charges led to a conviction." But those charges would never lead to a conviction! From the article, it's pretty clear that this guy used the AED correctly and appropriately. | 3 | Had to share this infograph from a recent post.Sure, if you take the time to read the axis and understand what it means, then it isn't misleading. However, for those who are not great at reading graphs, or don't take the time to look at the vertical axis, it is misleading. Look at the graphical example in the Wikipedia section I posted for a more extreme example. | /r/MensRights | 26/06/14 03:04 PM |
| 4 | Had to share this infograph from a recent post. From a purely scientific standpoint, this graph is misleading. The vertical axis should run from 0 to 44, not 20 to 44. See this Wikipedia section for a good explanation of truncated graphs. | /r/MensRights | 26/06/14 01:37 PM |
