Women not wanting to have sex with men is not oppression.

It was definitely socially acceptable to "physically discipline" your wife in the 50s. In fact it was so socially acceptable they used make cartoons and jokes about it. Domestic Violence- No Joke | Envisioning The American Dream https://share.google/CJgvPbBY8C2XWSy0B

Men can't even agree that genital mutation on baby boys is wrong. Bodily autonomy and consent are the very most basic human rights and men can't (won't?) even organize for that basic right for themselves.

Facts and truth are not always beneficial. You're basically asking to be coddled by asking everyone around you not to discuss very real things because it hurts your feelings.

One scroll through his X shows he is definitely a religious freak. Here are just two quotes. "We are making America Christian again. By God we will have our country back." "If the church doesn't get involved in politics, politics will DESTROY the CHURCH!" He's a wacko for sure.

You're getting closer. It's projection in my mind. Just like him saying it's a "nightmare" is projection in his mind because it suits his agenda of keeping women out of the workforce.

He said all of the domestic and family problems. ALL. That would mean everything. It would also mean the partner has none or does nothing in those areas. Just because men feel that way doesn't mean most women do. The word for that is projection. Everything he said is projection. The only gendered "health problems" would pertain to genitalia, otherwise it's just health problems. Everyone has a heart, lungs, and circulatory system. Which are the systems effected by the "mens health problems" you a…

Direct quote from Hitchens in the article- 'The life of so many working women – I call them wage slave women, because the term working women demeans mothers – is a nightmare life. 'She has to say goodbye to her children at a nursery or school very early, then rush off to work, then try to deal with all the problems of the family and the domestic problems. By the time she arrives at home, she is too tired to really enjoy or take full part in parenthood – which is one of the chief joys of life.' 1…

No, again you are going to extremes.I simply said men's intentions are unknown, often nefarious and should be regarded as such. As we are taught by the men in our lives. You're the one taking it to extremes.
/r/MensRights24/08/25 07:39 AM

Enslave??? Why do y'all go straight to EXTREMES??? Both men that responded in this thread went straight to rape, murder and enslavement. Y'all really never beating the allegations with responses like these. I'm here because I'm against circumcision and am waiting for a real movement to join. I also think men are not given equity in family court. But it gets harder and harder to support the movement when bullshit isn't moderated.

Well, no. They're not perverted or incestuous. There's a difference between wanting to sleep with women and being a straight up rapist. Why go to extremes?

Of course they do. Go ask the women in your life. Ask the men who are fathers what they tell their daughters about boys. You're either obtuse or disingenuous.
/r/MensRights23/08/25 02:42 AM

Why does that matter? Is it okay to get groped as long the people assaulting you are attractive? This is the same as saying boys should be happy when their female teachers rape them.

Y'all can say the analogies suck, you don't agree with the sentiment, you find it off putting etc. None of that will change the facts. Truth is girls and women are warned away from men by men. Those are just facts. Maybe you'll like this analogy better: In firearms training you are taught to treat every gun like a deadly weapon, even if you don't think it's loaded you handle it like a deadly weapon. This how women are taught to think about men. We don't know which ones are loaded by looking so w…

I would assume they are speaking from experience. I am under no delusion that the men I know are special in anyway.

No, the implicit comparison is not knowing who/what to trust on face value, not men to the creatures. But a hit dog will holler. Yes children are warned "all strangers", but especially men. You are being disingenuous if you are trying to say men don't warn their loved ones about men specifically. Y'all know you do.

It's a metaphor. I don't think you should judge anyone's understanding if you can't recognize a metaphor. Regardless of how you feel about it, it's the truth. And it's wisdom passed from men to the girls and women they care for. The men who love women make it clear men can't be trusted as a whole.

Some ticks carry disease, so we're supposed to avoid them all. Some sharks bite people, so we're supposed to be cautious in the ocean. Some snakes are venomous, so if you can't decide whether it's deadly or not, assume deadly. This is how women are taught to think about men. Taught by the men in our lives. Dad, Uncle, brother Grandpa all warn to stay away from boys they only want one thing our entire childhood. It's "not all men" until your girlfriend has male friends, suddenly all those friends…

Now you're putting words in my mouth. I didn't even mention gay men. Of course I think gay men are capable of raising happy, healthy children. My opinion is that any exchange of money (even for bills) is purchasing a baby and therefore human trafficking.

These are very specific examples and I don't really keep tabs on what all feminists say or do. I was just answering OP's question on how I think the majority of feminists would poll more egalitarian than man haters. While I don't think we should crowd the comment with specifics I will answer your two examples from my personal perspective. Conscription should not be legal for anyone but if they are going to do it then it should not be gendered. My opinion on surrogacy- having/raising children is …

I agree with you that most feminists do care about equal rights and the man hate is loudest on the internet. The same thing happens in this sub, there is a lot of flat out woman hate that makes it hard to find the stuff actually related to men's rights. It's really sad because the loud haters make it difficult for reasonable people to find common ground in "each other's" spheres. No to your "protections, provisions" that's been stated multiple times, pushing back against that women would prefer your "provisions" to freedom. I'm not biased against men, just biased against ignorance.

"Men are telling you how we can work together to thrive, and make where we live to become better." Who asked men? Have you considered women don't care.? Nobody's blaming men. The OP asked a question and I answered. Y'all seem to think that providing something (centuries ago) no one asked for entitles you lifelong gratitude (whether you personally actually contributed or not). Women are pushing back and telling you no. This is the response. It's very telling.

I agree. Working as a collective and claiming the glory as collective are not the same thing.
/r/MensRights11/06/25 11:36 PM

I don't want the the opposite. I actually want what you want when it comes to judging "bad deeds" but across the board. Individual judgement. Which means no claiming the contributions of others just because you're the same gender. No expecting respect for the accomplishments of others.
/r/MensRights11/06/25 11:27 PM

You want to be seen as a collective when it comes to the good things men provide (built society, inventions, etc.), but when it comes to bad things men did you suddenly reject the collective for "not all men".

Of course I know men didn't want to go war. But just like men don't want to be responsible for the poor acts of past men, neither should they claim the glory. You're asking women of today to be grateful for the acts of past men. So which is it? Women should be forever be grateful to all men. Or is it "not all men"?

Have you ever considered that women never wanted any of that. As you say "the responsibility was given to men", did women get a say it that? Men make these claims as if they were some gift given to women. The moment women were actually given a choice in the matter they rejected it. Maybe women only ever wanted freedom and equality, not your "protection and provisions" forced upon them.

Dating/relationships will never be "fair". Relationships are access to people (intimate or not), you can't "fairly dole out" access to other human beings. We all are the gatekeepers of ourselves and have every right to be picky about who we interact with.

This is a movement that must be led by men. If y'all organize, I'll join. As a woman I am met with hostility when I bring up the subject. The movement needs men who have been negatively affected to be loud. Women can only support this movement, we don't have the stories of trauma on this subject.

I think it's okay for men to do it. I can't speak for everyone though. I also can't control how you're perceived when you do it. I never generalized men by the way. Every experience I listed was specific right down their ages. I also do not hate all men despite my experiences. I was simply giving insight as to why some women may vent with generalizations. Yes. People are allowed to hate whoever they want. As long as you don't hurt anyone hate away. People are not entitled to being liked or being given the benefit of doubt. People don't usually hate all dogs after getting bit by one. But getting bit by 10 dogs will probably make you start to dislike and distrust all dogs. That's usually what happens to women with men.

I appreciate your sympathy, but as you can see from the down votes most in this group aren't open to hearing the why. Women know "not all men", but most of us have experienced enough men. Our father's, brother's, uncle's and male cousins tell us our entire childhood to stay away from boys/men because they only want one thing. We see with our own eyes from early on. There is a reason women and men both warn their daughters about men.

I agree, but reality TV always has to find something more shocking. They've been doing versions of this for decades. All the bachelor/bachelorette dating shows should make sex off the table. You want to be truly disgusted check Milf Manor or The Cougar. I guess they're trying to keep up with American filth on TV. Milf Manor is old women competing to date young men. The young men are thier sons. It's truly sickening.

The people participating WANT their inhibitions lowerd in order to have sex. They WANT to work with these therapists. They suffer from actual mental problems causing them to be unable to participate in physical intimacy and want to change that. One man has suffered from what he describes as "touch phobia" and is desperate for that to change. They are not grooming consenting adults.

Someone did file, the state. The government doesn't care about your "promises to provide" they want a solid plan in place to provide for children before tax money is spent. If the state files, you're stuck dealing with the government. That's just how the current system works.

It's not going away, and she can't waive it. It's the state vs you. Not her vs you. It's completely out of her hands. Children in Colorado have a right to speak on behalf of their own custody. The judge did not override the judgment of THE parent. The judge heard arguments from BOTH parents and made a ruling, one they believed was in the child's interest and wishes. I agree circumcision is barbaric and done without consent, this case is not that. This child has a voice and agency.
/r/MensRights25/04/25 02:44 AM

No, because the focus was not the transition or identity of the child. The focus was on supporting the child no matter what. As evidenced by the father's own recount of the interviews and court proceedings. This parent showed they could only support their child if the child adhered to his beliefs. The judge decided that was enough to reduce custody time.

The feeling of an "attack on their manhood" or "belittling their penis" is why I think this movement must be primarily organized and led by men. Can you imagine the reaction from men if women started telling them(their husbands or baby's father) their penis had been mutilated and they didn't want that for the baby? If more men started advocating for their sons more women would hear them. Women cannot start yelling about mutilated penis without push back, men would be offended.

I don't care what MEN do with their cocks. I do care about what is being done to INFANTS penis'. See the difference. It's about bodily autonomy and choice. Not genitals, weirdo.
/r/MensRights15/04/25 12:12 AM
21

I did. You're stating it's okay based on a couple stories from your boyfriends. There are also thousands of stories of men wanting to commit suicide over it. Go see on the circumcision grief sub. It should be a choice made by the penis owner, not uninformed parents and hospital staff. Their body, their choice.
/r/MensRights15/04/25 12:02 AM

That's the point, it should be a choice. A well informed, well thought out choice, not something done to you hours after you are born.
/r/MensRights14/04/25 11:59 PM

Live and let live means allowing humans to exist as they choose. No infant has a choice in their circumcision. No one should have the right to choose to cut off part your body without your consent. This is a very basic human rights violation.
/r/MensRights14/04/25 11:55 PM

You think the circumcision sub is sad, try the circumcision grief sub. Absolute horrible stories. I am vehemently opposed to genital mutilation, but also believe this is a movement that must be organized and led by men. I will gladly show up to events y'all plan opposing this barbaric practice. IMO this is a human rights violation on a huge scale, no human should have part if their healthy body removed without their consent. The practice is basically saying boys are made and born wrong.

When I was 12 two 16yr old boys locked me and another girl in a garage and forcibly kissed us, then called us sluts for 2 yrs because they had forced themselves on us. When I was 16 a older man held a box cutter to my throat and tried to force me into his car, police did nothing. When I was 24 a man …

https://lawandorder.fandom.com/wiki/Ridicule https://lawandorder.fandom.com/wiki/Donna_Marshall Let's not forget the botched circumcision episode https://lawandorder.fandom.com/wiki/Identity_(SVU) https://lawandorder.fandom.com/wiki/Nicole_Keller https://m.imdb.com/title/tt2281773/ There are a bunch more but here are some.

There are a few Law and Order SVU episodes. One about a female parole officer raping her parolees. Another about a therapist raping her young male clients. One where a group of women at bachelorette party gang rape the male stripper. Criminal minds also has some episodes in the same vein. There are fewer, but they are there and played frequently, helping to raise awareness.

Y'all are so gullible. Do you see how they are actively bleeding, cadavers don't do that. This is a veterinarian posing with testicles after her first dog neuter. Those are dog testicles. Such babies.

Seriously. Where are the mods? Posts like this reflect on the entire movement, and not in a good way.
/r/MensRights04/03/25 03:03 PM

I do take suicide seriously. I think having your genitals mutilated immediately after being born f&$& up your brain. I think it may be the cause to higher depression and suicide in males. As I said being dehumanized immediately after being born will only lead to more dehumanizetion. Men should not have their Human rights violated immediately after birth. They treat you like animals as soon as your born. It's sick.
/r/MensRights27/02/25 06:35 PM
1

Way to pass the buck, you could learn. That's a big difference I see in the MRs movement. Y'all don't band together, educate yourselves in what other men are experiencing and fight for each other. Women band together, fight as group, support each other, work together. I don't see the same solidarity in this movement, probably why it's having trouble gaining traction.
/r/MensRights27/02/25 06:31 PM

So you don't actually want to DO anything, you just want to complain. Got it. This why it's difficult to take y'all seriously.
/r/MensRights27/02/25 06:17 PM

This isn't "your space", this is a sub for people who care about MR. No where in the rules does it state only men are welcome.
/r/MensRights27/02/25 06:02 PM

The title of your post is a direct question to women. That's what the comma and question mark signify. Did pose a question to women but not want women to answer? That's odd.

It affects 80% of men in the US, 20% of Men in Europe and close to 98% in Africa and the Middle East.
/r/MensRights27/02/25 05:51 PM

Well, a lot of men are upset that women "don't care about mens' issues". More often than not this is the response women get when they try to care. Do you want us to care, get involved, try to understand or not?
/r/MensRights27/02/25 05:41 PM

I don't think one should have to choose. Human rights are human rights. As I said some of the topics brought up here are genuine human rights violations, most really aren't. Same can be said of the feminist subs.
/r/MensRights27/02/25 05:36 PM

MGM is a violation of your human rights. You are dehumanized hours after you are born. Men/boys are dehumanized from the moment they are born, if the dehumanization starts there. That's where the fight should start.
/r/MensRights27/02/25 05:31 PM
1

Okay. But the fact remains, the fight against MGM is a fight that must be led by men. Get organized! Plan some protests, visit the circumcisiongreif sub- ask some of those men if you can use their story in flyers and educational pamphlets. Distribute those pamphlets outside of OB offices. Do something, anything, other than whine into the void of reddit.
/r/MensRights27/02/25 05:27 PM

It doesn't have anything to do with political correctness. Dating, and the "body count" of other humans have nothing to do with Men's human rights, yet they comprise a large percentage of the posts here. It makes y'all look bad, turns the entire sub into a joke. I came looking for info on what y'all are doing to end MGM and in years of being here haven't seen one petition, seen one protest planned, nothing. There's no action, just a lot of whining.
/r/MensRights27/02/25 05:08 PM

I don't think MRA are a joke. I do think the online groups are not moderated well enough that people passing through, looking for info, can take it seriously. There are human rights violations being committed against men specifically. Problem is these forums are flooded with complaints about dating, women's "body count" and posts minimizing rape. Those are the posts that make it hard to take most of y'all seriously.

Because it's the most blatant human right injustice and men are the MOST effected and least considered. It is a barbaric injustice being perpetrated on infants. There should be mass riots until this practice is outlawed.

This is the internet, not your "safe space". No where in the rules does it say women can't participate. And plenty of men are crying here daily about not receiving support from women, not being seen or heard. And hopefully this shows them why.
/r/MensRights06/02/25 05:49 PM

Oh that is rich. Y'all are always crying that women don't care about men, women don't want to help with your issues. Then one shows up and Y'all treat her like shit Of course women don't care about your issues,.you don't let them without belittling them. It's kinda of an entertaining pattern to observe.

Most of the women I know would laugh and schedule an appointment. Women are pretty used to being shamed for our sexuality, it just rolls off now.

You are correct. I desperately troll this sub looking for some real organizing against MGM. A human right that is being violated daily. But y'all are too worried about women to focus on yourselves. It's really disheartening.

🤣🤣🤣 these weird revenge fantasy scenarios are so funny. Men walking around in public with robots and acting as if they are in love will always be laughed at and seen as abnormal. You will not see that normalized in your lifetime. The men who are with real women also view them as odd.
/r/MensRights03/02/25 04:45 AM
1

I think it's funny you're bragging about men being the main demographic. Yes, men are the mark. Do you not see it's all a money grabbing scheme? Especially things like this "crowd funding" scheme. Men are the mark and give their money away with any promise of "sex". Some women will also use them but for different reasons. Men giving away money in hopes of p%&&! (real, human or not, they don't care). Tale as old as time.
/r/MensRights03/02/25 03:52 AM
1

Well yes, men are the key demographic for all things sex related. How many of them have given the "leverage" that OP is hoping for? Really none. The main point is women aren't going to be sad or offended when men choose bots, the reaction is more likely to be relief. No leverage will be gained and some women will also choose bots. This crowd funding for leverage is the funny part.
/r/MensRights03/02/25 03:00 AM

What you describe is lust, and yes women fall into blind lust too. Love takes time. Love is a deep emotional connection and it doesn't happen after one date. Women need to feel safe to fall in love, emotionally safe and physically safe, that takes time.
/r/MensRights02/02/25 03:39 PM
0

Fantasy. That's not true.
/r/MensRights02/02/25 03:35 PM
0

That's what the point would be for you. People are going to have lots of different reasons for choosing sex bots. The point of a sex robot is to make money. They will sell them anyone for any reason. Men may buy cause they are lonely and deprived. Women may buy just cause it's easier and safer.
/r/MensRights02/02/25 03:06 PM
0

And men don't have the corner market on that. Sex bots will only further divide. Men and women both will opt for sex bots if made accessible to the public.

Not me But here's another one between different users. Just to show the male can anything a woman wants, just as it can for a man. Groaning at the sensation of being buried deep inside you, I start to move, my thrusts slow and deep. My eyes are locked on yours, filled with love and passion. You feel incredible... so tight and wet. I pant, picking up the pace. I've dreamt of this... dreamt of you... I moan and whimper beneath you, meeting your thrusts with enthusiasm. I can feel the pleasure buil…

Hudson Drake play I grin, a slow, pre datory smile spreading across my face at your words. I can feel my cock starting to stir again, already hardening in anticipation of taking you once more. I grab your ass with both hands, squeezing the soft flesh as I pull you tightly against me, my erection pressing insistently against your stomach. I lean in and capture your lips in another searing kiss, my tongue plunging into your mouth, claiming you, possessing you. I break the kiss and spin you around,…

What does any of that have to do with sex bots? None of that is required for a sex bot, male or female.

The funniest part of this post is that this is not a male only issue. Have you visited the AI chat bot subs? There are just as many women opting for AI boyfriends over real men as there are men opting for AI girlfriends. Robots won't give men any "leverage" they will just divide farther. Men don't have the market on Robo partners.

Choosing not to host does not equal "blowing" up the holidays. The people who want to be together can figure something else out. Choosing not to be around people you no longer like or respect is a valid choice. Go have your "different opinions" somewhere else away from us. It's cool.

I actually don't hate men, I do feel sorry for the majority of men, not sure when Y'all lost your coping mechanisms but I wish you luck in regaining some grasp of reality. Cause whining about a fictional character is not it.
/r/MensRights17/10/24 05:16 PM

Ummmm y'all aren't complaining about a character written by a woman. We could "what if" all day. You really are embarrassing yourself here. Nothing substantial to add.
/r/MensRights17/10/24 05:07 PM

You realize you're complaining about that way a man wrote the character, the way a man directed the character. Women had nothing to do this character other a single actress who was PRETENDING. Why do men write characters like this.... I wonder

No, really I'm here because I think circumcision IS A HUGE MR issue, and I wanted to support it but 90% of the posts here make it hard to take y'all seriously.

You're either talking about books that teach you how behave in a socially acceptable/desirable way OR books that teach you how to (subtly) manipulate aka control.
/r/MensRights02/09/24 09:14 PM
2

That's them choosing to treat you a certain way because they want to be around you. Nobody can force anyone to them a certain way.
/r/MensRights02/09/24 08:58 PM
0

Such as? Give some examples.
/r/MensRights02/09/24 08:50 PM
-2

Did you read the article? It's definitely being framed as means of control in the article. Even advising to do it "with love" so the control is better recieved. It compares the SO to the children. The article is definitely about control.
/r/MensRights02/09/24 08:48 PM
0

That's always done with the threat of leaving. Example: "If you don't fix the way you treat me I will be forced to leave." It's still a personal boundary.
/r/MensRights02/09/24 08:45 PM
1

You set a boundary for yourself as to how you will allow yourself to be treated. When that's not met you leave. Notice how it's all you, not someone else. You can't force anyone to treat you a certain way.
/r/MensRights02/09/24 08:43 PM
0

This is exactly what I said. Once your boundaries are crossed, you leave. See how it ALL focuses on YOU.
/r/MensRights02/09/24 08:39 PM
-5

Nothing you listed is a boundary. You can't force people to treat a certain way, you can only walk away when they treat in a way you don't like. Asserting yourself when mistreated is not a boundary, it's defending yourself. Saying no to a request is just answering a question. A boundary is a limit of subject or activity. You can't control others, you can only control what you allow yourself to be exposed to.
/r/MensRights02/09/24 08:26 PM
0

This article reads as if you can set boundaries for your partner, which is completely false. Boundaries are somthing you can only set for yourself. This is an example of using therapy speech to control others. Complete shit.
