ah yes, of course, silly me. let me break it down for you. pearl makes claims that women are more likely to commit violent acts or crimes, which simply isn’t true. men do commit more acts of violence, because they are not taught to express emotions in more constructive ways like verbalization, but instead of focusing on that pearl focuses on “women=evil” instead of “patriarchy and the rules it puts on men AND women = evil”. i am NOT denying and will NEVER deny that men have a hard time in this world that we live in. we all do. but to address your points- men are incarcerated at higher rates due to a proclivity to violence: something that has been studied since the beginning of the psychological profession. men are more likely to resort to violence due to the ways that we raise boys and expect them to react with their bodies instead of with their words. this is something that NEEDS to be changed.
