| 3 | So, I was thinking...people who want sex reassignment surgery go through extensive counseling as well as a trial period before going under the knife to ensure that they're of sound mind and really want it to happen. This is what it pretty much boils down to. Trans people go through hormone treatments and therapy long before surgery which makes their body look like their identified gender sans genitalia.
