Literally anything. At this one event I went to a guy I had just met got me talking about WWI at the beginning of the night and we stuck together for the next four hours.

If you two already have a good rapport, call her a good girl. (Example: I had the better part of a beer left and we had to leave so I chugged it and my friend said “good girl.” I almost choked on said beer. It was great.) Edit: also, play with her hair.

People are throwing around terms like they know everything about them when they actually have then all wrong and it’s very amusing 🤣

Right? What’s frightening is the attitudes of these guys completely convinced everything is a calculated move against them. 🤣 Like, no one puts that much thought into it calm down

Guy asks a question. Some women answer said question honestly and with their own experiences. The replies: you’re WRONG

Agreed!! From a psychology perspective this is just as fascinating as it is sad.

There’s also a very valid possibility that people just don’t like being in pictures. I know I fuckin hate it. Occam’s razor.

Because they might not be with a guy?

Doesn’t bother me. Granted, I don’t want a nesting partner, but I really couldn’t care less if you’re living at home. Good for you for saving money! Might make fuckin’ more difficult but you’ll just have to get creative.

I was going to say “it’s just instagram” but that line about him putting his hand on her back should have come first!

I like short dudes. I feel like I’m automatically attracted to them even if I wouldn’t be otherwise.

I try to be blunt and straightforward about it but people always think I’m kidding. ¯\(ツ)/¯

I feel like no one does and it’s hellishly confusing. Like, people think I’m not being honest if I am, so should I….not be honest? if I want them to think I am? How does this even work? How do people just naturally know how to do this?

I’m very similar. I hate small talk so much, so unless somehow we get onto some great topics right off the bat (which does happen occasionally) I just… have nothing to say. It sucks. Trying to force conversation when I have nothing to say is like trying to picture a color that doesn’t exist.

Yeeeeeah trying to make the girl jealous or whatever will push her away without fail, if not actually hurt her. I’ve been that girl a few times now and the way I see it, you’re either currently occupied or an asshole who plays childish games, but either way, fucking OW dude no thanks. I like that you had your own little “come to Jesus” moment here.

I wish it it were that easy but it seems like any time I say something direct people take it as a joke. So maybe not this one?

We're not all shitty people though /: I understand that a lot of us can be abusive, not want to get help, etc. but that isn't everyone, and individual cases tend to vary drastically. I, for one, desperately want to get help (I just want to be okay SO badly) and am highly aware and careful of how I treat the people around me. I understand that you had an extremely unpleasant experience, and I'm really sorry you had to go through that, but it's pretty hurtful to assume that everyone who engages wi…
