i think rape is an extremely difficult subject to navigate as the damage that can be done by not believing somebody is equal to the damage that can be done by believing a false accusation. It sounds like things need to change in Spain. I believe women should be prosecuted for false rape accusations 100%.

have you not seen my other comments, where i talk about male suicide and custody battles? i’ve seen a lot of awareness for prostate cancer too, so not sure what your point is there. i try and promote the idea that women and men can go into any job they want, they should have a choice, so in turn i do believe that women should be able to be brick layers if they choose to and shouldn’t face discrimination or judgment because of it, the same way i believe men should be able to go into beauty therap…

groping, shouting explicit comments, taking unsolicited pictures, any form of inappropriate touching, rape - all examples of assault/harassment that women have suffered due to their clothing choices. nobody is asking men to protect women, we’re just asking men not to assault us. i don’t think that’s asking too much, do you?

how can you say education is important is for women, but in the same breath say women shouldn’t go into employment due to their menstrual cycle? if a woman can work through education with her period, she can work through employment. a major component of education is preparing an individual for the work place.

this view makes me think of the black lives matter movement. the black lives matter organisation used donations for personal gain, not to support black lives matter or black people/communities. unfortunately, people use this to discredit the movement. they can’t separate the company from the ideology, when they are in fact separate things. i believe in black lives matter, but i do not support the organisation.

I am sorry you have had those responses, that is not right and it’s not the ideology I stand for. I don’t see an issue with child minding, and I don’t think women should be put down for it. Many times women leave their children with family anyway, such as their parents or siblings etc. If not with family, they will leave them with a trusted friend. i call myself a feminist because the true feminist ideology is wanting equality. that is the true definition used by sociologists to generalise feminists, there are different types of feminism but the general definition is that. i think it’s a shame that the actions of a few women have disgraced feminism as a whole to the point where we need a new name.

no, we don’t hide. we’re just not highlighted in the media in the same way radical feminists are. most of the people i’ve come across or got friendly with are actually feminists. sometimes people have told me they aren’t, then i’ve defined feminism as i did above, and they’ve said actually they are feminists. feminism has been twisted and warped by the actions of radical feminists, who aren’t real feminists.

i believe extreme feminism has stopped being about equality, we called it radical feminism when i studied sociology. for me feminism is wholly about equality though, that’s literally the definition of feminism.

i’m an athiest, for starters. i just had a conversation with my boyfriend about breasts. breasts aren’t inherently sexual, they are just…lumps for feeding babies. society has decided that they are a sexual thing, and therefore any woman showing a bit of cleavage is promiscuous or something to that effect. even things like girls wearing a cropped shirt, or showing their shoulders in school isn’t allowed because its ‘distracting’ for the boys. how is a stomach sexual? why is it distracting?
