Honestly I feel sorry for this girl. She’s wasting her time and one day she will kick her self.

If my partner said that ‘ they didn’t get along at all ‘ rather than the being too young I’d 100% commit myself to him completely it’s not really about him going back to her it’s more I don’t want him reflecting on her wishing he was more mature for him. That would make me second best

You don’t want your relationship to suffer because of his pride. You’ll rather be shorter off in moneh. But he doesn’t care that you’ll be without a ring, proper commitment and children. Funny that. I know who I’d rather be in this relationship, him because he’s getting his cake and indulging in it. Big time. Girl wake up

His ex was good enough to marry and take the risk. You aren’t is what I’m reading here. You’re suffering for the trauma she put him through. HAARDDDD next. Also sis, does he pay your damn f*cking bills for him to be mad about your earnings?

My friends now husband used to say he has trauma around marriage and can’t marry as his parents, sister and best friend divorced. She said ok that’s fine, my parents have been married 35 years so I still believe in it. As she was going to leave him guess what? Suddenly his trauma vanished and they’re married. He’s not marrying you because he knows you’re sticking around for him because, you know, he’s the only man in the world. Sorry if I’m coming across harshly but please don’t be no ones doorm…

Girl I highly doubt if I had those experiences I’d have batted an eyelid at that comment. Hell I had a boyfriend in college who was lovely and sweet. If I was more mature we may have lasted too then I’d have never had my virginity taken by rape. I don’t miss him or wish we stayed together ( other than the fact that atleast I’d have lost my V nicely ) and I wouldn’t swap my husband for him. I think it’s also the fact that my husband took her virginity and didn’t get to take mine that I feel guilt…

It may be a possibility

I know he isn’t in love with her but I guess it’s the possibility that if he could go back in time he’d pick her over me

It’s just weird to say we can’t be perfect because of age lol. Why would it be less perfect than if we were 21 🤣

Thanks for your comment I disagree that our ages would mean we can’t have a happily ever after relationship that was a strange comment

Thanks. Why would you say to definitely not speak to my fiancé about it? X

I didn’t even read the rest but I wanted to comment on your title your dealbreakers are your dealbreakers and as long as they’re important to you they’re valid.

Myself and many other people I know found the one when we actually stopped looking. Some things can’t be forced but that’s my opinion and experiences 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hmm. I didn’t date before 24 and because I felt so pressured by timescales like this one I fell into a really awful relationship at 24 because I just so desperately wanted to be taken. I guess I should have known better as I was old enough to do so.. Ladies, you date when you’re ready and don’t ever feel pressured. When it’s your time it’ll come don’t feel pressured to find love before a certain age honestly. Love yourself

Ah I get what you’re saying make it more a discussion than a dictation

Because I’ve become more spiritual over the last few months and realise that I want to remake that commitment of waiting till marriage I don’t really see the big issue I get what you’re saying about it seeming like I’m playing games though. But nothing good has ever come out of premarital sex for me.

In my earlier twenties I let a great guy go who later moved onto someone else and had a child with her and I beat myself up over it for literal years. Now I look back and I realise that it wasn’t meant to be. I believe everything happens for a reason and one day it’ll all make sense. If you two were meant to be you’d have made it through this argument but he moved on quite quickly so to me he already had one foot out. But that’s my opinion 🤷🏻‍♀️

The last paragraph you wrote is correct. Fiancé knows I’m not he just doesn’t know the full story. Should I tell?
