Good. It's time that our justice system became less retributive and take into account the circumstances and character of the perpetrator. Rehabilitation should be the end goal, not punishment. I know this won't be a popular opinion on here, but cycles of abuse are a real thing and this crime isn't entirely her fault. She should pay some consequences for breaking the law, but she needs psychological help, not prison.
