yeah, yikes. So far her version of "I need to get moving" is "I need to go back to work and make more money so I can move out again" - oddly enough. That fig leaf is stronger than the cubic foot of air that I was currently working with. Ty.

I agree, she has some unfavourable things going on in her life. However, providing empathy is fine with me as currently the comfort of having someone around is worth more than dealing with any negativity that could come from her. I think this will be a slow let-go, and not a harsh cut-off.

Thanks for the comment, you speak the truth. Not the answer I want, but certainly the one I expected. Yes, the accident must be clarifying, thanks for reminding me that I don't know how intense the inside of her head is right now in terms of thinking about her future. The route that I'm hoping for is the honesty one where we both know it wont last forever but choose to enjoy each others company for as long as we need to.
