Father's Day PPDYes! It should be referred to as opting in. It should be a legally binding document that a couple seeks out upon finding out about the pregnancy and clearly states both parties expectations and roles. And either parent should be able to completely relinquish their parenting roles or have their roles taken from them if they’re not fit to be a parent With child support being legally mandated from either party. It seems like it would be common sense, and it’s so deeply embarrassing to me that it is… | /r/PussyPassDenied | 19/06/18 11:11 AM
Father's Day PPDThat sounds awful to me, but like you I guess I am more egalitarian! Do you have any good source I can look at to learn more about the specific beliefs of feminism like this? I’d like to be able to start dialogues about this outside of reddit :) | /r/PussyPassDenied | 18/06/18 09:17 PM
Father's Day PPDWow thanks! Gonna start referring to myself as this from now on. Definitely more accurate. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 18/06/18 08:57 PM
Father's Day PPDThanks for this! I remember learning (way back in community college) about different “types” of feminists that actually do have particular goals and levels of what is “radical” but I have never seen any of them referenced in the real world. It’s just all “feminism” and a lot of it seen is radical. There is one subset I learned that’s concerned with general human rights iirc but they maintain the “fem” root because of history or something. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 18/06/18 08:56 PM

Father's Day PPDHoly shit dude. The system is fucking broken. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 18/06/18 08:51 PM
Father's Day PPDThanks!! Exactly agree that you are closer to the issue! Just as straight people can be allies to the LGBTQ culture, but not exactly advocate in the same way as someone experiencing the issues first hand, I think of myself as being an ally for men’s rights. So I flip situations a lot to demonstrate that men’s rights issues do exist. Small example, shitting on short men for something literally out of someone’s control is so common among women, but the second a man comments on a women’s weight it’… | /r/PussyPassDenied | 18/06/18 08:46 PM
Father's Day PPDSounds like a psycho that isn’t able to reverse the situation and see the double standard she created for herself. I’m a feminist because I believe in equal rights for both men and women. Historically, the name was derived because at the time women did have it way worse than men. But modern feminism is not about bumping one sex up and reducing the other, it should be about how we, as a society, work to close a bullshit outdated gap created just because of anatomy. That means highlighting both wo… | /r/PussyPassDenied | 18/06/18 03:07 PM
Father's Day PPDThis just breaks my heart. I don’t even know where to begin. The idea that a mothers bond is greater than that of the fathers is archaic and outdated. I’ve never carried a child and can’t relate to the feeling, but this clearly shows that it in no way makes you a perfect mom just because you pushed one out. I’m so sorry for your buddy. Just makes me sick. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 18/06/18 03:04 PM
Father's Day PPDI warn all my male friends about this because it’s terrifying how easily a woman can entrap a man into a financial obligation with a child. Women are more empowered now than ever, even if there are a lot of other obstacles to face we are so much better now than we were in the 60s when there was NO form of birth control. Today, sex isn’t all about having a kid, and both partners engage because of a mutual enjoyment of the activity. If a pregnancy results I don’t see why the father has to come alo… | /r/PussyPassDenied | 18/06/18 01:23 PM
Father's Day PPDBeen meaning to comment as a long time female lurker, what better thread and time to do so! Between this subreddit and menslib I am surprised at how much I didn’t realize happens in male worlds like this. I’m a woman so I’m unsurprisingly focused on women’s issues. Seeing these kinds of threads puts it into perspective for me to not accidentally be a fuckass when I’m speaking to women’s rights. Now I push for other people to see this kind of stuff too and it’s so frustrating because some just do… | /r/PussyPassDenied | 18/06/18 01:17 PM
Just a reminder #DontBeThatGirlAm female. I spent a lot of time looking at this and being confused because I’ve never seen a real ad targeted toward the woman being the predator here. I was upset then and thought it was weird but I thought about it for a while and realized this ad is amazing. It did exactly what it was supposed to do- shock and open discussion. I wish this was real, I think it really needs to be addressed as a whole in society. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 08/05/18 01:50 AM
After so many years of this happening in my life. A bar finally levels the playing field.I feel like a lot of women would see it as a huge privacy issue. It's really strange to me that men can just pee with other people watching but that's just because over 23 years of my life, bathroom stuff has been really private to me with some exceptions. When I was in a sorority and we'd go to frat parties, girls would pile into a bathroom like three at a time and just do their thing while carrying on a convo- it was just convenient. even now, the group of girls I go out with do this but only … | /r/PussyPassDenied | 13/09/17 01:35 PM
