1	Being directly sexual is considered creepy and pretending to be friends with a girl just to get sex is also considered wrong. If both of these methods are wrong then how are you supposed to go about showing interest? Its called using a soft stick, nuance, or play. Play is the most important aspect. The way you put it is a false dichotomy. You take either extreme and collapse all the nuance. For example, say i want to get into a city surrounded by walls.
