...he pretty much calls them pussies. i get what he's trying to do but this bit was in bad taste.

that's not evidence of the wall - a sharp decline in attractiveness in a relatively short period of time - it's evidence that men are attracted to young women the most, which isn't a surprise to most people. i've seen actual studies that back it up(1, 2), though honestly i don't understand the circlejerking. everyone becomes less attractive as they age, if it happens to women more sharply than men what exactly do you gain by it? unless you're an incel or Hugh Hefner you're going to grow old with…

i don't see what I'm doing here as arguing, more as fine-tuning my ideas in front of an audience.

i also remember seeing a study that concluded that women were better investors than men. thing is though, women in general were less confident of their ability to invest so the ones who did were more likely to be good at it, while for men any random dude feels like he's warren buffet. i'm guessing it's similar here.

not at all. trp is a weird concoction created due to social isolation that hasn't existed in the past to this extent, since families were huge and often lived together, and entertainment other than books had to involve other people.

wait, aren't you the guy who threw a fit about miscegenation? anyway, i doubt it's happening in large numbers, but if that's what you want go for it. if you think it'll pressure western women in any way you're delusional.

/r/MensRights/[1] : These men seem to be obsessed with the word rape. Yes I've been following this subreddit for some time and most days there has to be a thread on rape. Are they scared of being accused of being rapists/paedophiles/child molesters ? ...do you believe /r/mensrights is the only gendered sub that's overly focused on rape?

my guess is that many of them have a weak sense of self, so a woman who sees them as lesser makes them lesser, in the same way a woman who cheats on them hurts their masculinity. this fuels anger and anxiety.

i don't think it's bad, but it is commodifying. the era of the soulmate is coming to an end, and the "is this the best deal i can get?" mindset is making a comeback, fueled by the huge increase in opportunities afforded by more casual relationships, online dating, etc. people are losing their brand loyalty as they become more informed consumers. this leads to anxiety in less competitive "products", and in the last few remaining romantics.

alpha=cool guy+pseudoscience beta=dork+pseudoscience plus it's associated with awkward people so most folks don't want anything to do with those words. also see negging(which is interchangeable with teasing but is used exclusively by dorky puas).

How would you know if any of these guys were posting on TRP? The guys there may be "openly" expressing bitterness but they are doing so anonymously. because every masculine guy in the world posts on trp? what, 80,000 guys almost all americans? look we're not pc folk, but if they started confiding in me how women are essentially solipsistic children and how they can't wait for them to hit the wall, i'd be concerned about them. that doesn't mean they're bluepill at all, mind, but they don't go aro…

In the past month I've had female friends and relatives describe men by saying "Men are a fucking pain in the ass," "Men think the fucking world revolves around them," "Guys are inconsiderate assholes,"I swear all fucking guys are clueless idiots," "I hate all fucking men" and many more similar comments. Very similar to what's said by RPers. yea, difference is redpill literally constructs theories around this sort of statements, takes them as fact, and claims that those theories will make them s…

Being a leader doesn't mean being liked by 51%+ of people on reddit. It means being respected by the people who actually matter. Deep down, you know this. There are plenty of kids with Internet gold and karma out the wazoo who are by no means charismatic leaders IRL. this isn't about karma, this is about you guys being the main target for ridicule on this site which to me seems like something you'd avoid if you have the skills you claim to have, for the sake of increasing membership if nothing e…

i'm a man and i know plenty of masculine guys, very few of them are openly bitter towards women, including guys who were arrested for all sort of shit. i've been in the army and i didn't see anything like trp there either.

Well, the difference can be told - if seasoned TRP members are the ones endlessly complaining about hypergamy or whatever, then, no, it's not working. If newbies are the ones doing that - then null result. If you track members for some time and see the tone of the posts going from "bitter" to "I AM ALPHA AND SO CAN YOU RAWR" then it's working. by working you mean improving their social skills not making them natural leaders right? then i agree(though you gotta take in account natural maturing an…

sorry you see it that way, i didn't set out to offend you. to put it in simple terms: i'm not saying you are necessarily bitter, i'm saying that's how people see you guys on reddit. now, assuming a decent amount of you have the social skills of an apex alpha, i'm asking why would you allow this image to disseminate in the first place? is it beyond your control for some reason, or is it intentional? tl;dr if you guys have social skills, why does it look like you don't?

When processing psychologically difficult material, it's hard to seem charismatic. that's understandable, but at some point the promised social skills are supposed to appear. it's kind of like building an internet community with the express purpose of teaching people to be funny, at some point i'm going to expect results and hand-waiving "it's physical humor it won't translate online" wouldn't convince me considering they learned it online in the first place. another point I gotta address here: …

i don't get charming if i demand it, fair enough. if you prefer to present yourself as anxious and bitter that's your business, what i'm doing here is asking why on earth would you do that? are you trying to appeal to other anxious and bitter people? if you aren't trying to present as anxious and bitter, why is it how people perceive you, considering your social mastery?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/14 05:48 PM

fair enough, but why can't they manipulate us? the most obvious trait of charismatic people is that they appear charismatic, that's the point. why aren't we seeing it here, beyond a few members?

So if you hate on or defend Nice Guys™, why? What is driving people's investment in this issue? two different reasons. first, letting people take advantage of your niceness(not an actual thing btw) and then whining about it online is cuntish behavior. it's like offering me a slice of pizza you ordered and later whining behind my back that i'm a mooch. if you don't want me to "take advantage" draw some fuckin lines. that's the motivation of most women who whine about nice guys i guess. for men th…

you can learn more about social skills from experience than you'll ever learn circlejerking online. pua can help you a lot if you have issues getting that experience in the first place due to anxiety, etc., by covering your basics and psyching you up but that's the most they can do for you. anyway my suggestions: get fit. you don't have to join a gym(though you should) but keeping physically active would help you a lot both physically and mentally. make sure you get your basics down when it come…

Women: Women almost always have to be attractive regardless of any other traits they bring to the table. To have a strong female lead, a women has to be attractive and funny, or she has to be attractive and smart. IMO, this attractiveness prerequisite exists because a large portion of men simply will not pay attention to a female character unless shes attractive. She can be smart and funny, but it won't matter if she's not a pretty face. that used to be much truer than it is nowadays. look at pa…

people break obligations all the time, it doesn't make them bad it makes them irresponsible. you can break every obligation you've ever made and still be a great guy. an utrustworthy guy, sure. and a shit friend. but a good guy who never had a malicious thought in his life.

having sex outside of your relationship is not immoral, and definitely not a crime. what is immoral is hiding your behavior from your partner. the act of cheating may be impulsive and irresponsible, but it's not predatory or cruel as long as you come clean to your partner and don't take advantage of their ignorance. if you're complicit in hiding the affair then you are morally culpable, otherwise it's really none of your business.

being a misogynist does not make you a bad person. committing callous, cruel acts would make you a bad person. or at least likelihood of committing those sort of acts when left to your own devices. misogynists are often seen as bad people because, barring some people who were genuinely traumatized by women, it takes effort to maintain a misogynistic mindset in today's society. how, and for what purpose would anyone willingly adopt and maintain that sort of toxic mindset? people are social animal…

http://www.reddit.com/r/AskMen/comments/1lne63/married_men_of_reddit_are_you_still_sexually/cc10o6h this is one of the best, most relationship-affirming reflections i've read on the subject, read it and try to keep things in perspective. trp, even if it was some brilliant, enlightening revelation, would attract the type of people who are pretty much at the end of their rope. no-one's first plan is to go to reddit for advice on how to find meaning in their social life and reinvent themselves as m…
