I think some of it is because men will do everything to deny they're actually balding instead of doing something proactive about it like shaving or getting a transplant or hair system. Putting a hat on top or having a combover isn't attractive. By the way I say this and I have a huge crush on a balding dude currently. I find that it's just another part of him that I like. When I think about him I don't think about his bald spot 😂 I think about how hot he is in general.

I meant to say that it's not something that has happened as often as I've heard other women say... I've heard some women say it happens pretty much every time they leave the house all done up, which isn't my case at all. It happened mostly when I worked a customer service job. Also recently I dropped some weight (around 25 pounds in total I think) and I've noticed that I get more stares, more men generally paying attention to me and WAY more compliments when I'm out and about, but not just from …

Good for the most part. I said thank you and they moved on. I've had a couple of guys give me their number as well and I did go on a date with one of them, however I quickly found out we were incompatible so told him that. He was good-looking and friendly and everything, we just had nothing in common. Personally I need some things in common if I'm going to get more serious with someone... One guy invited me to his place to play video games because he knew I was into old games on the SNES and he …

The primary biological drive is to procreate. Women of a certain age (late 20s-early 30s) start thinking about it more and more and want to find a man to settle down with and have children with. That man must be marriage material since they want to have kids with him and kids is the highest form of commitment, even stronger than marriage... thus you can't do it with just about anybody. Of course not all women want children, but a decent amount does. Most people will think about whether or not th…

A lot of people want kids, especially at your age. Women will want to procreate earlier in life because it's easier to give birth/take care of a newborn when you're under 35. 35+ pregnancies are considered "geriatric" for a reason. Would you have a kid with a random person or hookup? 😂

Men will typically help me carry stuff around if I'm visibly struggling or hold the door for me but it stops there. I've never had a man directly stop any form of harassment or SA while it was happening, but that's to be expected as I was alone with other men when it happened - it typically doesn't happen in public, or if it does the man will not be open about his intentions and will try to hide it. I haven't been cold approached much in general in my life but I have been complimented by random …

It's very true that men tend to expect you to look after themselves and "monitor" them whereas most women won't expect it of their partners. Personally I almost always go dutch or alternate 50/50 for who's paying for dates, however I feel like I always need to make the first move in planning said dates with women + maintaining a conversation flowing whereas with most men that are clearly interested I don't have to think about it as much as they are more proactive. I like taking charge, just not …

I'm typically the one who initiates everything in my relationships with women and it... gets old very fast LMAO It's part of the reason I don't seriously date women. I would be way more open to it if the reciprocation was there, but it's oftentimes not.

Earning an average/slightly above average income will cover that. If not, there's always other ways to work out for practically free and if you eat the right amount of calories you won't gain weight. The thrift stores around me sell nice clothes and accessories for cheap prices... You don't need to be extremely rich to be in shape and decent looking imo. It goes for women as well.

I'm gonna be honest and say that I don't mind but I don't particularly seek it out. Ever since I changed my style and started dressing more colorful and feminine, I've received a bunch of compliments from complete strangers and friends ranging from old ladies to men my age. So far no one has made any weird overtly sexual comments which is what I want to avoid especially. It's always awkward when some dude comments on your boobs or ass.

Don't you have deep talks with your friends? Can you not open up to them about your struggles? To me real friendship includes those things by default.

I much prefer men that naturally show their emotions rather than emotional robots who bottle everything up. That's unhealthy and is likely to lead to outbursts if it goes on for too long. Unless a man is constantly crying, whining and asking for validation I think it's more than okay for him to be as vulnerable as he feels comfortable with. Any intimate relationship (friendship or more) requires both parties to feel comfortable enough to be 100% themselves without having to always wear a mask. I…

Oh actually I'm very well aware that hypersexuality is a form of self-harm and can come from trauma/PTSD induced from rape and abuse amongst others. However I'm not anyone's therapist and I can't stop my friends from engaging in behavior that I would find questionable for myself, a partner or a potential child. I can guide them to help or listen to them vent now and then but realistically I can't do much more than that. But nice generalizations there! :')

I'm gonna be honest and say that I wouldn't recommend it as women will rarely be sexually satisfied by a random man who only wants to get his rocks off from my experience. However, morally, I don't really care either way. I wouldn't date anyone who engages in extremely promiscuous behavior but I wouldn't care if a friend of mine or a complete stranger fucked a different man every night provided that she gets tested + is on birth control.

It's a known phenomenon that trauma/PTSD can cause changes in sexual behavior and sexual orientation as well, though the latter to a lesser extent from what I've read. I know it might be extremely controversial to say but sexuality is more fluid than we'd like to admit. Some men who have gone through traumatic events involving men have later on expressed desire for men which didn't exist prior to said traumatic events, just like some people feel repulsion towards sex after being raped and some n…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/24 12:54 AM

I second that. Personally I'm into athletic, lean and skinny body types on men - overall a low body fat % is required. What I find weird as a bi woman is that I am not attracted to super skinny women and find some overweight (not obese) women attractive, but not men. It's weird how attraction works. 😅
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/24 08:54 PM

This looks pretty dope! Just throwing it out there in case a man considering it cares about a random woman's opinion but I would totally not care if a man got a toupee. Some balding/bald men are quite attractive too even if I will admit I do prefer a full head of hair. I have experienced hair loss myself and I know how soul-crushing it can be and sympathize. 😔
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/24 08:45 PM

So you would rather be used for your dick? You're getting used either way.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/24 03:53 PM

I'm 24 and I'm dating a 33 year old man. I tend to prefer older men physically speaking, between 30 to 50-ish. I'd say I'm fairly independent and I'm not looking for a sugar daddy like a lot of people first assume. I've got my own car, savings (35k) and a job that pays well. I have no problem paying my half on dates or anything of the sort - I like the 50/50 approach. Oh and on top of that I don't have a daddy kink. Ask me anything if you want!

I've had casual sex with people I was attracted to and I've always been disappointed. Sex is not the same without an emotional connection, even if that connection is just a friendly one and not a romantic one.

My parents met at a bar and my mom was already pregnant with me a month after. She was 36 and my dad 40 at the time and their internal clock was ticking. They lasted 7 years together before they separated for 12. My dad never stopped loving my mom and trying to get back with her - then they got back together around 5 years ago I think. My mom never hid that she immediately got pregnant with me and moved in with him. I've never wanted to have that sort of relationship because I think it's a huge …
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/24 11:33 AM

Body count matters to some people and not others. As for myself I have had 7 partners, two of which were from LTRs and two others which were from short term relationships. Three of those were ONS, something that I am completely over with now that I have matured. I'm not ashamed of it at all though. If someone breaks up over 7 partners that's too bad I guess. It's not like I have 50+ partners or triple digits, which I agree is a lot.

I think the woman is completely overreacting. I'm a bi woman and I have so many "types" that I can't count them. I'm attracted to a wide variety of men and women. It has never been a problem with my boyfriend. We point it out when we find someone attractive and I've never felt jealous (nor did he) because we know that finding someone random attractive (especially a celebrity) means literally nothing. Finding a close friend attractive... that's another story. I would never admit that I find my bo…

I say this as a woman who's decently in shape (i.e. I'm not model thin either): I wouldn't date an overweight or obese man and am very rarely attracted to them so I don't expect men to be attracted to overweight and obese women especially if they're in shape themselves and put effort into it.

A lot of body hair especially on hands and back. It gives me the instant ick. Being too open about body functions (i.e. loudly farting or burping in front of your partner) - I don't mind that they do it in front of me, just don't go out of your way to be gross you know. It's not "masculine" behavior per se, but I've rarely seen women do that. Being stoic. I strongly prefer expressive people in general. Don't be afraid to express your emotions - positive or negative.

A lot of older celebrities are pretty universally loved and they're in their late 30s/early-mid 40s. Like Jensen Ackles for example - I don't think I've ever heard of a woman that didn't find him attractive. He's currently 46 but looks objectively quite good for his age. I see maybe between 5-10% of men in that age range that are on that level irl. If on top of that they're well-dressed, educated, funny and generous (not necessarily crazy rich, just enough to impress a younger woman lol), they w…

If he's attractive and charismatic he'll have no issues attracting younger women, either for a LTR or just for fun. I've seen it multiple times. However there is a caveat : only a minority of young women like older men and they usually like the more "well-preserved" ones. Older men that have let themselves go are not going to be considered at all by those women. Source: me and my peers.

I have a thing for men in glasses... I'm sure I'm not the only one lol
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/24 12:52 PM

I feel like it really depends on the amount of weight gained and the reasons behind it. It's normal for women to gain weight during a pregnancy, for example, and it's also normal to gain weight more easily as you age. Not all women are made equal and some of them will feel better at certain weights than others. Some men (and women) have extreme expectations when it comes to women's weight, such as a woman should never weigh more than 130 pounds (never mind that she's 6'). If she's gaining weight…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/24 02:17 AM

I work at a university and unfortunately I have seen way too many college-aged girls (most of them undergraduates) dress very provocatively in the labs, like wearing revealing tank tops and short shorts where they could be exposed to chemicals. It's cringe.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/24 04:39 PM

It only happens if I post something sexual or a picture of myself... I'd say at least 10% of the men in my DMs will escalate with a dick pick. Lots are just sending pics of themselves or pick-up lines.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/24 04:35 PM

Keep in mind that in Northern America most people are overweight. If you keep seeing overweight people everywhere you become more accustomed to it and might develop an attraction to it even, just because it's so widespread. In countries where being overweight isn't the norm, I doubt they have the same percentage of women going after dad bods. It's just a theory though.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/24 01:09 PM

I mean as a woman I see clear benefits to being friends with other women as opposed to only being friends with men so I will have to agree there. You usually get way more emotional support with female friends, with some exceptions.

I would want to hear their side of the story first. Sexual harrassment is a very borad term that can encompass many things and I'd first like to know what went down between my friend and the presumed victim before I can form an opinion about it - is there anything that could have been mistaken for harassment I wonder? Is the presumed victim wanting to get revenge on my friend? How could the presumed victim benefit from accusing my friend of harrassment? Are they credible, and so on. In any case …

He's paying for everything so it's all good with me lol I've only ever flown economy anyway so it's no biggie. I'm not a luxury person. (But realistically speaking I make more money AND save way more so if someone's paying for a vacay alone it's gonna be me and we're gonna fly economy to save since I don't think a bit of champagne and whatever is worth doubling or tripling the ticket price)
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 12:02 AM

Not an issue I prefer round butts to flat ones anyway!
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/24 11:56 PM

I feel like there is some threshold for my initial attraction to someone but it can increase or decrease based on my interactions with them and how we vibe. I would rather spend time with someone average that I'm sexually attracted to and who I can vibe with than someone way above average who has the personality of a lamp (whom I'm also attracted to).
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/24 12:31 PM

My current partner moved in with me after 2 months of relationship because he had problems with his roommate. We had known each other for around a year before that and were close friends already. If it hadn't been the case I would have wanted to wait at least a year before considering moving in with him.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/24 08:03 PM

Then I don't think you'd have any problem getting a part-time job, like around 15-20h a week. Like others said try to prioritize work that's somewhat related to your major (like working at a Best Buy selling computers lol) and internships!
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/24 06:06 PM

I think it depends on several things. 1) is your major "easy"? 2) do you need good grades to get into an honors program or to complete a Master's? 3) do you need to study a lot for every exam? I know some people are fine studying a few hours just before the exam, but that's not the case for everyone.

I'm the one who's more worried about FOMO out of the both of us. He's the type of person that knows exactly what he wants and what he wants is me. He pursued me for around a year before we became official haha I do not feel like either of us is wasting the other's time. We have a mature, fun, enriching relationship. If it does not end up working out in the end I will not resent him, unless he did something really awful. Marriage has been talked about but it's not very prevalent in our culture so…

Well I picked the guy with zero relationships and next to no sex experience at 31 when I was 22 and we've been together for 2 years now. The average weight for American women is around 170 pounds, while the average height is 5'4''. Yeah that's fat, although I guess not in the morbidly obese range.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 12:36 AM

Well it might be different for certain women. For example, a recovering alcoholic won't want to date someone who's always out partying (with alcohol), a childfree person won't want to date someone who has kids and someone who is allergic to dogs or hates dogs won't want to date someone who has three dogs. They're all clear, obvious dealbreakers that have nothing to do with personality but more to do with lifestyle.

My parents also got pregnant within three months of knowing each other, lasted for 7 years then separated for 12 (never married). Then 12 years later they got back together and are now happily not married and not living together but dating (their words). I've never seen a couple with a similar story but honestly I'm happy that in the end they reconciled.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 10:48 PM
2

We started living together after only 3 months of dating, but knew each other for close to two years before that. I would say that I am now considering marriage after two years of living together, but I'm in no hurry 'cause I'm only 24. I believe that it's more important to have cohabitated with your partner before marriage than anything else.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 10:45 PM

Sure. I helped my ex who's 5'7'' with his Tinder profile and he managed to get a couple of dates. He's a very average dude. He has good pics + a good bio though, which helps a ton. If you're facially attractive and have good pictures I believe you'll manage to get a few dates as well, though if you want casual sex only it might be more difficult.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 10:41 PM

The last time I outright rejected a man he sexually assaulted me (touched my boobs + vagina) and told me I wanted it because ''all girls want him''. He knew I had a boyfriend and didn't care. It happened when I was 18 and it has made me wary of rejecting men ever since. I know my situation is extreme and not common, but it happens to enough women that it's a concern.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 10:35 PM

Lots of men are naturally skinny... my bf is one of them. The only sport he does is kayaking and running once a week maximum. He hates the gym. No need to be a high level athlete to be skinny, you mostly have to watch what you eat and not be a couch potato.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 02:18 AM

What's your definition of nerd and what's its opposite?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 01:07 AM

Literally all of them can go. Just give me Reddit + a messaging app and I'm good.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 01:03 AM

I'm not attracted to 6 packs though, I strongly prefer lean/skinny dudes. Ofc I can only speak for myself...
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/24 11:46 PM

Yeah he looks like he goes to the gym minimum 6x a week... that in and of itself is unattractive (to me at least).
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/24 10:06 PM

My dude just wear a dress suit with the arms rolled up and if you're cold put a cardigan on. It's literally the sexiest thing ever and makes even the least attractive dudes more attractive by default. Check out r/manhands and r/forearmporn (most of it is pretty SFW) for inspiration. A lot of women are more into hands & forearms than biceps and chests. Also... make sure you do a lot of squats and get a nice round butt. That's another thing that makes women stare at a man.

Really depends on how young/old we're talking here. I'm dating a man 9 years older than I am and I'm barely noticing any difference at all with men my own age (I'm 24). There is no sugar daddy thing going on, we practically graduated at the same time and I'm even making more money than him (not that it matters). I'm also attracted to older men that are in their 40s/early 50s and I would not hesitate to make the first move in the right circumstances. I might be in the minority though.

I think it's similar to how women view sleeping around past 25 for both sexes - it's mainly seen as immature, which is not an attractive quality in a LTR partner.

I've rarely heard men being critical of other men's sexual habits unless they're predatory/creepy, but then again I don't know how dudes interact when there are no women around. I feel like most adult men would be indifferent to men who sleep around more than anything.

I fully agree with all those points. However I literally see no men talking about it except for a few people on the Internet. It'd be great to see men speak out against circumcision and for them to challenge how we as a society see men who need help. I am all for male victims seeking the support they need and I am all for men taking the initiative to build male rape victims shelters or male domestic violence shelters. I personally have zero problem with men building/managing male-only hospitals if they so wish but I think it would be an extreme minority of males who would actively be in favor of that. Most people just want someone to treat them at the end of the day, regardless of sex, race or religious beliefs. Since most healthcare workers are female (which has almost always been the case anyway, we're only now noticing a spike in female doctors in recent years), I wonder how they'll recruit all the male nu…

Most young reckless drivers are male (you can get a license at 16). Young men are more likely to kill themselves than young women. Young men are more likely to die by accident because they are risk takers and young women are risk-averse. This is true even among children and adolescents. I think you get the picture. I doubt it's because female doctors "don't treat men correctly" or whatever agenda you think they have.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/03/24 11:16 AM
6

The gender life expectancy gap can primarily be explained by thr fact that men are on average more reckless and tend to take more risks and work in more dangerous conditions than women. Women also typically look after their health/diet more and are less likely to be addicted to alcohol, cigarette or drugs. Those are all important factors. But sure let's just blame it on female doctors lol

That's been my stance with my partner who is more of a clean freak than I am. If he would have his way we would do chores pretty much every day but he's calmed down a bit and we're down to once a week which is more manageable. He does most of it and I pay for a cleaning lady once a month on top of that. It works well for us.

Well the older men are more likely to have baggage such as ex-wives, kids, a mortgage, etc etc. Not all young women would be equipped to deal with that (nor do they want to), so having sex with no strings attached sounds like a good option. You seem to be operating under the assumption that there is no biological drive for women to be more attuned to the baby's needs and to "force" her to bond with it. A mother will produce more prolactin and oxytocin during pregnancy and her brain will literally change during which again serves as a mechanism of bonding with her offspring. Furthermore the same hormones are being released when the mom breastfeeds. This is how we evolved. It's only been a couple of years in recent history where men …

Whether you believe in asexuality as a valid identity is your prerogative but you can't deny that some people have a nearly nonexistent libido. Some people could go without sex for years, some people are deeply traumatised by sex, etc etc. They are asexual ''in practise'' without labelling themselves as such. Some men are like that as well. I had a casual thing going on with a friend and I had to end it because he became jealous and wanted more. I think it's true that some women are like that, but I think there's a simpler explanation for why your girl is unsure about pursuing a LTR with you : you live in different countries and being in a relationship with you would mean one or both of you would need to uproot their lives if you wish to be together, and she might not be ready for that for various reasons. LDRs are messy by default so it doesn't surprise me.

To me FWB is a step above casual because in many cases you go on dates and have a friendly connection with them and the only thing that distinguishes that relationship from a monogamous "normal" one is the lack of exclusivity and commitment/responsibility. Like idk about you but I've always been friends with my FWBs which implies a deep connection.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/24 03:14 AM

Some women may want that, sure. Honestly even if I could have casual sex with hot dudes I don't think I would want it because I require some type of connection to them before I want to fuck. It doesn't mean I need to be in love or even that I need to think of them as a potential partner, but I need to be aroused with my brain before my panties get wet, ya feel? That typically takes more than one night to happen.

I don't think many men nowadays would like being in a relationship with a woman who makes minimum wage, because you need two decent incomes to buy property (or even rent a nice place) in most Western countries. What do you want with these women exactly? To have one date that ends up with sex and then you both ghost each other? Most women past a certain age don't want that, like at all. First it opens the door to STIs and unwanted pregnancies but it also opens the door to bad sex for us in a lot of cases. Unless you're perpetually going after 18-24 year olds it's never going to be like that forever. In any case you can avoid feeling like an ATM by prioritizing low cost dates and always splitting the bil…
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/24 01:12 PM

I mean personally I don't mind dates that don't cost a lot because I'm a saver so... win-win? I would prefer a coffee date to a McDonald's one but that's simply because of the differences in the menus not the price. I much much prefer someone starting with a non-expensive date than going to an expensive place and realizing halfway through that you're not a match and then I have to pay 50+ bucks (I always split the bill if not interested in a second date out of respect).
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/24 12:45 PM

Well women past their 20s/early 30s aren't going to want to keep doing this forever. At some point most people get the urge to settle down and have babies, or at least get in a serious long term relationship, regardless of their wild past. You don't have to date them if you don't want to.

I'm not the jealous type so I wouldn't mind. I'm also bi so very likely to be attracted to her as well :')

Idk man a lot of people I know tell me that once kids get involved the sex (and sometimes affection too) starts to dwindle until it becomes once a month or even less than that in some cases. A lot of men aren't attracted to postpartum bodies as well - not all women's bodies "bounce back" super quickly either, or at all.

Are you only friends with men?

I went on a date with a guy who gave me his number when I was working as a cashier and we had... absolutely nothing in common. He was decent looking (average to above average) but that was about it. Our conversations were not interesting and we didn't share the same interests.

Most of my crushes have had brown eyes. I think brown/dark eyes are lovely in general.

The only FTM celebrity I know is Elliot Page. Are there any more I'm not aware of that are fairly popular?

I'm a woman and I'm exactly like you to a T and my current partner was a friend for around a year and a half before we got together. I've had many crushes on friends as well and they tend to be way more intense than crushes on strangers/near strangers because we have things in common for starters and enjoy each other's personalities. All of that to say that I don't think there's anything wrong with it. As long as you're respectful of their own feelings/boundaries and you take rejection well (if …

I think it depends on how we define 'age gaps'. I'm in an age gap relationship myself (my partner is 9 years older than me) and I feel like they're relatively common but not as common as partners being close in age. Huge age gaps (20+ years between partners) aren't common though.

A lot of bisexual men prefer relationships with women and only fuck dudes casually.

There's two different types of IUDs, one with hormones and one without (the copper one). Personally I have the copper one and it makes my periods heavier and more painful but it's the only form of birth control I can stand because I cannot take any hormones due to medical issues. I don't have any experiences with hormonal birth control as I've never taken any and don't intend on taking any in my entire life if I can avoid it.

Honestly I would be perfectly content with that house. I just want to be able to own a house, any house lol

Being physically stronger means that one can defend themselves more easily in case they're in an abusive relationship or in case of assault, which sadly happens to a lot of women (and men, I am not forgetting about them, but again they are typically at an advantage physically in a hetero setting). I don't think you're aware of the extent of the damage that a woman can potentially sustain after pregnancy. I've heard of some women developing autoimmune diseases after pregnancy, or losing teeth, or…

In the West it's easier nowadays to be a woman socially speaking. In fact I'd say in most developed countries it's easier to be a woman socially speaking. As a woman I think both women and men have to deal with sexism, but for different reasons, and it sucks to be on the receiving end of both. However, physically speaking I still think we deal with more crap than men (we're physically weaker, we have periods that can sometimes be debilitating for some women, we deal with pregnancy/childbirth and…

I've been followed by a guy who jacked off in an empty public place while looking at me once. I was 13. It's really sad that almost all women I know have stories like that.
