Holiday tips for first timers?Single friends. Noted on that part. I'm in my upper 30s. I'm terrified when I hear some men on this sub not get over their ex in over 5 years. I can't afford that. I want to have at least one kid before I'm 45 so I'm not friggin 80 with a 10 year old. | /r/Divorce_Men | 29/10/25 04:48 AM
Holiday tips for first timers? Can you share how you handled the holidays post-divorce without kids? That will be my case this year. Just divorced with no kids. | /r/Divorce_Men | 29/10/25 04:33 AM
How much alimony?Reading about these alimony stories only reinforces that I'm grateful my STBXW makes about the same amount of money I do, and that I definitely will be picking another career-oriented woman with high earning potential the next time around. The monthly payments I see floating around seem damn near criminal. | /r/Divorce_Men | 22/10/25 04:59 PM
Bouncing back…Yes, it is full-on hell to go through. Just keep breathing, man. Develop/write a self care action plan tgat includes healthy and non destructive things you can do. For me I'm aggressively taking care of myself with individual therapy, going to the gym, and reaching out to loved ones (family, close friends, old friends who I haven't talked to in years, and coworkers). I strongly encourage you to consider the same. Say yes to more things and go to events/venues/cities/countries you wouldn't normal… | /r/Divorce_Men | 21/10/25 07:34 PM
For the love of god people. Stick with no contact if you can.I think no contact and thinking about my STBXW hooking up with other men are the two hardest things for me to deal with right now. This is flat-out hell. 20 out of 10 on the emotional pain scale. | /r/Divorce_Men | 15/10/25 01:34 PM
Getting back out there…Going through a divorce now... Shouldn't you give yourself a bit more time to figure yourself out before jumping into a new relationship? Maybe some individual therapy? You do you, but just throwing this suggestion out there. | /r/Divorce_Men | 15/10/25 12:04 AM
