i think it all depends on the age of the people in the relationship. it’s truly and case by case sort of scenario and we shouldn’t discourage what could bring people true happiness

i dont really think anyone’s expecting us to all run into traffic when we see a women on the road. maybe just give people a bit of space when they’re walking alone. gender aside that seems like human decency

please explain. not saying you’re wrong or right. just genuinely wondering how crossing the street is “ruining your life”

in all honesty, i’m not really sure what having a weak male character or a strong female character proves. all that is doing is showing different types of people instead of just stereotypical strong man weak women. but that doenst mean they can’t both be strong, and even if a women looks strong and a man looks weak, they can both still be nice and interesting characters with a lot of respect for each other. i really don’t see how this is proving your point in any way. there’s still plenty of mov…

i think you might like to reread what you just wrote there. specifically where you say “he gassed the weak, women and children” (that’s a little counter productive if your point is men got it worse during the holocaust but that’s besides the point) it is awful that he exploited the men, and that shouldn’t have happened that’s terrible. all i’m saying is that those men were not placed in labour camps because they were men, many men all over the world did not have to experience the horrors of the …

i’m really sorry that you feel threatened by women wanting to feel equal, but i think that speaks more to your insecurities then it does to women “oppressing” you. but aside from that the patriarchy is certainly not a fairytale because there is absolutely nothing magical about it. women are shoved into metaphorical cages to control them, and this has been happening for a long time. (this doesnt mean that men aren’t) i think the other part that you’re missing in this is that fact that feminism is…

my argument towards that is solely the fact that bringing up the holocaust in this context was unhelpful and inappropriate, the events in the holocaust never had any problems with men for being men

in case you haven’t noticed, fighting for gender equality is not shitting on men, it’s asking for everyone to be equal. men are still in control whether you’d like to admit it or not, and whether or not the so called “rules” were made to hold back women, the sad truth is that many women rightfully feel that they do. i don’t deny that there wasn’t fault in what was said on twitch, but the fact that men control society is not some made up rumour, it is the reality in which we live in.

there is a difference in this. i believe the point being made on twitch is that men don’t get oppressed for being men. obviously jewish men were oppressed in the holocaust, because they were jewish. the same way gay men can be oppressed because they are gay. but in those too scenarios, the fact that they are men is not the reason for the oppression. (i disagree that men can’t be raped tho that is a dumb thing to say)

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
