She's directed two of them and acted in seven movies, one of which she also directs. There is only a single example of her production company latching onto a film in which she was only in the producer role, and that is Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. A majority of women don’t get the same opportunities that men get, especially in entertainment. Female writers often don’t get the same chances as their male counterparts.
