Well yeah, if you want to start making stuff up. There hasn’t been a single peer-reviewed scientific study to link weed with brain disorder. There is a presumption that it may accelerate the development of schizophrenia, but only in subjects pre-disposed to the condition, and only in teens/young adults. No substance is completely safe. Caffeine isn’t completely safe. But weed is comparable in terms of harm.

Weed is a drug the same way coffee is a drug. Most people don’t class safe substances as ‘drugs’, it’s more useful to distinguish between lethal and non-lethal. The difference between caffeine and weed is a hell of a lot smaller than the difference between weed and cocaine. So, yeah, I agree with her.
