I think there are too many things holding me back (many that are unchangeable) for me to have much hope. Statistically, some people have to be left behind. I can't be too angry at it, because at the end of the day it's pretty justified. Arranged marriage to someone from my ancestral country will be an option in about 10 years or so, but I think that would be a step backwards and would just lead to misery.
