Get your masters and then what? Work for people you don’t respect doing a job you don’t like? Focus on the investment part and shoot for early retirement. I’m 32, prior mil working at a major defense contractor in project management. A masters will get you about $5k extra a year unless it’s in a really high demand area. I do a lot of cool shit but at the end of the day I still work for someone else and they control my fate. I’m about 12 months away from replacing my W2 income with investment inc…

No not at all! They’ve just been around long enough to have a large network and be well respected. Without a niche military network or being old as fuck your best path is to be really fucking good at what you do. Go to industry conferences, read white papers written about industry related topics, excel in your core field, develop a real passion for your craft to where you find yourself doing it outside of work. On top of all of that, be able to handle yourself in a professional setting with peop…

If you own real estate you need to treat it like a business. Whether you’ve got $10MM in luxury houses or only have one small property. I have wealthy acquaintances who buy luxury property to store wealth and do a shitty job at managing it. Higher end properties have a lower ROI so property management and other fees can eat into the profit quickly. You’re also dealing with educated tenants who have the means to sue you if you don’t have your shit together. There’s good and bad with different ave…

In my experience it locks your money in for longer periods and you don’t have much control over it. That’s why the government typically limits the pool of investors for these at the “accredited investor” level or above. So they won’t be wiped out if they lose $200k in a bad placement.

The quickest route to the C suite at a defense contractor is first serving as an active duty officer with a respectable resume and likely going to one of the military academies. Almost all of the director-level and up guys I know worked in the same command when they were active duty. It’s a good ole boy system. The guys without that experience are old as fuck with tons of industry experience. It’s a better path to be the highly specialized fucking savant that can hold a conversation without spra…

Sounds like you aren’t managing tenant expectations or you bought into a shitty deal. Don’t thrust your bad experience onto other people. Yes property investing has its downsides like any investment, but you learn from your mistakes and put better systems in place.

Great post! I think this should be a primary focus of a lot of people here. Having the financial means to do what you want gives you a different mindset and allows you to emanate passive dread in both intimate relationships and in a professional setting. For instance I am currently employed in a niche field and have received several offers from our customers to contract direct (1099) for them. I make over 6 figures now and my position is good for networking but the corporate environment has grow…

Most Nashville residents stay away from Broadway unless friends from out of town want to check it out. I’ve had good luck on Demonbreun and over in Midtown (Check out Kung Fu and Winners/Losers). Little neighborhood bars like in the Nations and Sylvan Park are pretty decent spots with good music. East Nashville is full of hipsters and fatties. Broadway is full of tourists but still definitely possible to score if you’re staying close by.

This doesn't necessarily apply to all of them. Most SEALs I know and have worked with just want to do SEAL shit and hate when it goes mainstream media. Even elite groups like this have the occasional turd.

Holy shit what a good read. I will recommend this to those I know of that are considering the military as a career. It begs the question though - knowing this is how it really is, does one choose to "game" the system, fit in and plaster on a smile to move up. Or. In my path (mostly) try to do the "right" thing and stick to your morals while sacrificing advancement. I suppose it's a question each man will need to answer on his own.

We could mask up and beat his ass? Tell him if they ever did it again we would string him up "Girl with the dragon tattoo" style. In the military we used to do training in random towns near the base to help us learn to build a target deck from scratch. We'd go to the pedophile database for that area and use that as our "terrorist cell" hierarchy. Do surveillance on their houses, vehicle follows, etc. Made the training more realistic knowing you were looking at actual pieces of shit.

Great FR and well done my friend. This reminder came at a time I needed it. Met a girl with a bachelorette party this weekend that was interested and she's been hard to stay in contact with since. You can't negotiate attraction. Only option at this point is to focus on other women/goals and let her come to me. Whether she does or not doesn't really matter. Good luck!

It bothers me how many people cant do even basic first aid. A couple months back my buddy sliced his hand open while moving a fridge. I keep a medical kit in my truck for reasons such as this. No one else there knew what to do outside of "go to the emergency room". I treated his hand so well he only needed to re-bandage once and he avoided paying hundreds of dollars to visit a clinic. People thought it was amazing. It's really not.

This. It seems like a much easier process than going out or trying to find something to do. I've got a nice place, i've got some cooking skills, she's already at my place. Keeps things efficient for a weeknight.

Up at 5:30, gym by 6:15. Much more energy throughout the day and you don't have to fight for equipment. Plus you've got a pump that lasts through most of the morning and impresses the ladies ;) plus that opens up the evenings for dates or errands.

Set up something low stress and soon. Probably either coffee or night time drinking depending on how you met her. If she flakes, drop her and move on. I commonly get women's numbers through day game and random events and only maybe 2-3/10 does it turn into a second meeting. Develop abundance mentality and the outcome won't matter.

You came right out of the gate with your $350K job, nice place downtown, and brand new BMW. They don't need to know any of that. Your clothes are tools for attraction, your apartment is conveniently located so you can close quickly with lots of women, your nice car is a means to drive your bitches around. Focus more on your looks, your attitude, having fun, and being sexual. Your career success and wealth potential will route 9/10 women into looking for a relationship with you. In your own mind …

5'9 - 180. I carry a Glock 19 & 23. The FBI did a study a few years ago about the hit percentage of their agents in a shootout. I want to say the number was something like <20% of their rounds found the target. 9mm handguns can carry 2-3 more rounds than a .40 or .45 caliber giving you better odds of one of your rounds hitting the target. Personally I'd stay with a 9mm or .380 for carry. My next purchase is a Sig 938. Keep going to classes. After the military and several civilian schools Ive bee…

I also think it has to do with the overall pussification of men. I'm in a larger southern city and I'm very surprised by the number of males that have never touched a firearm or done much "man-shit" in general. Doing manly shit has become a lost art and it scares urban women seeing men being men.

I've found it always gives girls the tingles as well. I keep my Glock next to the bed and my AR loaded in the closet and I've always gotten positive responses when I bring girls to my place. Match that shit with some muscles and a strong frame and I think it takes them back to the hunter/gatherer days - knowing she's with a man that can protect her. I think it's in the delivery too. I'm not weird or cocky about it. Yeah I've got guns and I know how to protect myself. This is actually pretty norm…

The military CAN be very blue pill. Working within special operations is the best place to be if you want to have the most impact on yourself and carry on some semblance of red pill behavior. I learned a lot about myself in the physical challenges and the discipline learned from taking ownership in your actions. I had a great experience in the military but a common idea is that all the good people get out when their term is up. For many it's treated as a form of welfare if they can only make it …

Most doctors say you are normal if you fall within the 250-1100 range. Attached is an advanced study done in the 90's testing the average test. by age group. https://www.menshormonalhealth.com/normal-testosterone-levels.html A healthy diet and adequate exercise should increase your normal levels by 10-20% or more to account for westernized-beta-man syndrome.

Yeah I feels ya. I guess I was asking more in terms of an LTR. In my experience they are definitely more "exploratory" than other girls. Curious if others have had the same experience or can refute this.

So long as you've got (or will have) a respectable 6 figure job and have a moderate SMV otherwise, you could probably have your pick of the litter. Low N-count women with strong family values. If she decides to cheat or be a ho, she becomes a pariah and is ejected from the community.

My best friend from High School is a Mormon. While my beliefs don't coincide with theirs, I am jealous of their familial value system. Their sense of community is VERY strong and a lot of their women are highly respectable in comparison to a non-mormon women. My friend married an HB8 girl while at BYU. They both were virgins. She wasn't even mormon. Her parents were smart enough to send their daughter to a school with this kind of strong moral practice because they knew she would end up with a h…

I'm a christian and had a bunch of catholic friends in college. They partied harder than any other crowd. The did have a pretty healthy stigma against sex before marriage but that faded by their sophomore year. Even before that, in lieu of vaginal sex, anal and oral were common work-arounds.

The grass will ALWAYS be greener. Always. You should take note that to successfully bed multiple women and have that life that you THINK you'll have outside of this relationship takes a LOT of time and effort. And you've been out of that game for a long time. If you're focusing on building a career/business/wealth i'd take note of how supportive she was of your endeavors and how willing she would be to stick around if you failed. A supportive spouse is one of the top indicators of success among …

I'm not one for infidelity and I don't recommend it for morale and self preservation reasons, however... Probably the best sex i've ever had was with a 40 yr old mother of 3. They know how to handle a cock. However be warned! If she is good at the sex, you may be setting the bar too high too quick my friend.

If I read his comment correctly he experienced what I am currently experiencing in Africa. A very large number of troops that "deploy" never leave the wire. Their job entails little more than your typical 9-5. Yes, even with weekends off. They look like heroes to people back home, and hey, great for them. Maybe they are. But some of us actually deploy to fuck shit up. The worst part of my deployments are having to come back to the base and watch assholes eat pizza hut and go to salsa class. Aint…

The fat soluble vitamins are soluble in lipids (fats). These vitamins are usually absorbed in fat globules (called chylomicrons) that travel through the lymphatic system of the small intestines and into the general blood circulation within the body. These fat soluble vitamins, especially vitamins A and E, are then stored in body tissues. Fat soluble vitamins, once they have been stored in tissues in the body, tend to remain there. This means that if a person takes in too much of a fat soluble vi…

I work nights at my job and tested at around 22 at my lowest levels. I now take about 5,000IU per day. This over the last 18 months has kept my levels around 50-60. I buy Nordic Naturals brand off of amazon. Remember, Vit-D is fat soluble so it will accumulate in your system over time. Most folks levels plummet in the winter months and are commonly diagnosed with SAD (seasonal affective disorder). Low-T is another common factor for low energy, anxiety, depression, weight gain, being a pussy in g…

I agree that the book is repetitive and has sort of a foo foo mantra behind it. I still think the underlying idea of "acquire assets, not liabilities" is a powerful one. This message sort of sparked a paradigm shift in my thinking and spending habits.

A lot of the guys i'm still friends with from my college days are huge into watching sports and playing fantasy football. It is very disappointing that when we rarely get the occasion to hang out as a group 75% of the time is spent talking about fucking sports and the statuses of all of their players. Meanwhile i'm over here like "Heyyy, I've been to 7 different countries this year and make over 6 figures at a job I love!" I don't mind a little SEC fooseball in the fall but it's become a pandemi…

Figured Kiyosaki would be on here.. Rich Dad, Poor Dad - Robert Kiyosaki https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0175P82RA/ref=dp-kindle-redirect?ie=UTF8&btkr=1 His book has some odd quirks in it like starting a business and IPO'ing it, which was a 90's thing. I think the newer editions took some of that out though. His mantra is basically to know the difference between assets and liabilities. Acquire assets to grow your asset column allowing you to buy more assets until you are rich. This book was a…

American TRP men see high partner count as bad for LTR because there is empirical evidence of her being more likely to cheat or have a complete inability to pair bond at all (i.e., they enjoy the cock carousel). Thus, they have a lower value among other women, unless you just wanna fuck. Their high partner count and slutty demeanor is merely a byproduct of their poor personality, poor decision making, etc.
