Since I started FDS it’s like I’m starting to see the world completely different. I recently got a super amazing job in my efforts to level up… not that money is everything but i will be out earning all my peers (including the platonic male friends). I’ve noticed that all my HVW girlfriends are really excited and genuinely happy for and proud of me. The 1-3 platonic male friends I had all seem less excited and much more… sour? Sorry you had to go through this! And wow I didn't know this was so common, I went through something similar but he labelled me as emotionally abusive to all our formerly shared 'friends'. Thanks mods for all you do. The work that goes into modding is what makes the sub a safe space. While I get the reasoning, I would also hypothesise that there are lots of people like myself - FDS newbies who are still on the learning curve.
