Zero percent of strange men who come up to us while we are out and about know anything about us therefore it strictly is a physical sexual attraction and it’s inappropriate for strangers to have an expectation of us that we should reciprocate their sexual interest based on knowing nothing else about one another. I’ve never had a positive experience with strange men approaching me interested in dating me based on my appearance.

I hadn’t even ever in my life thought about this and now I’m trying to think back and I think only 1 hot guy ever insulted my looks and I’m not even sure if he thought it was insulting but he said I looked like I belonged in a porn video and I was really offended…

So clearly he doesn’t actually want to date… 👀 This is like the guys who put copy pastas in their profile that are geared more towards making sexist men laugh than attracting women.

Yeah, the idea of someone anyone younger than 45/50 dating these men grosses me out. I’ve seen so many subs where men are trying to normalize young women/girls being approached by older men. They’re upset women have started to become aware of how predatory and disgusting this behaviour is. It doesn’t surprise me for a moment that ads are trying to normalize it as well.

It’s funny because when I started reading it, I didn’t see the sub and I started raising my brow like… the quiet nerds who also objectify women and are upset that they’re not getting laid? The quiet nerds who pretend to be my friend and then get mad when I only see them in a platonic way as a friend but they are upset because they… ohhhhh lol it’s humour. Got it double hand guns pew pew

Your original accusation of my entitlement due to my not wanting men to approach me made no sense based off of anything I had said. You never had legs for your argument so perhaps go work on that prior to engaging with people (who again don’t want to engage with you, are repulsed by you and just want to go about their day not having to interact with you). Move along 🪰.

you’re either a creepy guy who feels men are entitled to bug people who don’t want to interact with them or you’re a girl who is needy for male attention and either way it makes your opinion on this pretty moot. Don’t bother people in public just because you fancy the way they look and you want to have a go at their bits. Leave them alone.

Entitled because I don’t want nasty ass [entitled] creepy guys to approach me? Unfortunately it happens almost every time I’m in public alone. But sure, I’m the entitled one 🙃

After reading the OP and the comments, it’s clear that both beautiful and ugly people of all genders can have personalities that are either beautiful or ugly. Noted ✍️ 📝

😂 if you’re in a situation where women want to be approached, such a single’s mingle (or Tinder), that is expressly designed for these purposes... have at it. There’s PLENTY of opportunities to get to know and meet people of your preferred sex that fall outside of going up to strange women in the streets (or who’re working out at the gym), who are just trying to go about their day. The human species is going to survive not being creepy 😅

Yeah... again why we can’t have nice things. It’s like those rules or posted signs that no one could have possibly been dumb enough to do but clearly someone did because now there’s a silly rule so no one else can do it. Except most women have been hit on since they were girls. My very first time experiencing unwanted advance was when I was ten and walking along the side of the road searching for frogs. A man in his 70’s (ish) comes up to me, tells me he has a present in his house for me and wan…

Yeah I’ve my doubts. Most of us have had MANY negative experiences with guys approaching us and our having to shut them down awkwardly while they won’t accept defeat if we waver even slightly. This “girl” is acting like she’s never been approached before and “wow it was so refreshing”... I’m like what rock are you living under and no... let’s not encourage men to go up to women they don’t know.

Yeah I’m one of the women who doesn’t want to be approached ever. Not that it wouldn’t be cool to meet non-creepy guys who were attractive and cool, but it’s always the guys who are insistent and waste five minutes of your time with your having to say no in a myriad of ways. It’s why we can’t have nice things. If those guys can stop being creepy and stalker-esque in their approach for at least the next decade, maybe less of us would tense up with a guy approaches us. As it stands [personally] I …

I kind of cringe at this and all the feedback... I hope this doesn’t plant the seed that most women want strange men to come up to them... Sure, I’m sure some women are ok with this, I can’t speak for all women just like the OP should have [only] spoken for herself. I get it, it must be frustrating for men hearing conflicting sides and not sure what to do, but personally I don’t want to have to engage with strange men who somehow felt entitled to my time because they were keen for whatever reaso…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
